"Funny fact: I've been suspected of being some sort of agent twice in my life. Once by a friend's father. Can't blame the fellow for being cautious, he was tortured in Paraguay by shitfucks trained by the school of the americas (now the 'western hemisphere institute for security cooperation'). Another time by a couple who i am good friends with. It is certainly good to be cautious, but it is sad that it leads us to suspect friends."
i've had my share of that. for whatever reason someone in a different city where i live didn't like me and thought i was a provactuer and someone else here swallowed it whole...we were going to go somewhere and make some art for a zine but i actually was already engaged in a pow wow being put on by the local indigenous activists (this was back in my activist days). anyway people came to pick me up, inspite of dudes fears and it was indignantly reported to me what i was being called (good to know most people were on my side, i think). i declined going though because i would have felt very rude to leave at that time then. another guy in an anti-drug war group i had been involved in thought the same sort of thing and his reason was because i yelled very angry and mean things at police officers at demos.
