Attack on East Bay Police Station
We wanted to let everyone know how easy this was to pull off in case you find yourself walking the streets at night and need some ideas how to safely take file your complaint against the pigs. With gloved hands we grabbed some bricks from the neighborhood around the corner. We approached out of view of any cameras, as to not leave them with any identifying images. Pulling on our masks, we casually approached when no cars were driving by and spent a total of 15 seconds hurling the bricks through their thick plate glass windows. We quickly got off the main street and disappeared into the night. This communiqué was written so our attack would not go unreported and was originally posted from a public computer to a website that does not store IP information. Smash things up in the night! Don’t get caught! From Athens to the East Bay – the fire of rebellion is spreading. This is only the beginning. |

An holistic and just
An holistic and just approach to changing the constitutions of society should emphasis a broad spectrum of methods to reform and at the same time to respect the individuals right of being perceived as innocense of complicity in the management of the particular oppressive system.Of course there is no equation comparing the value of a life to material items, nevertheless this respect extends into discriminating between assets of the oppressors,or assets of the non-oppressors.This is just one example of the tact required, because one will alienate potential supporters, and the riots directed more against the oppressors at the station was appropriate. The collective protesters must emphasize their method and maintain an art to their war, collateral damage is not an option because it disrespects the fundamentals of individual liberty and mirrors the oppressors method of using random violence and fear of it for control.

Well just so one rioter
Well just so one rioter doesnt trash the rights of another rioters family, thus a division within the ranks,a division the fascists in Spain used to victory. The anarchist revolution is more cerebral than practical

And I will add that the strike extends beyond the workshop,or the 6 hour rampage,it must be a lifestyle self-sacrifice,to be a non-consumer participant(and ironically this makes the homeless street people living a truer anarchistic lifestyle),to not observe bureaucratic or state licencing and taxation, and to extend this practice for many years, even if it be the total domination of ones freedom and not breaking and maintaining ones dignity and faith in the power of the individual spirit as Mandela showed after 30yrs. it makes little difference to change in an anarchistic direction whether we as individuals do or do not use money (or most other lifestyle decisions we make, i could say the same there). i sympathize with these sentiments and encourage all forms of evasion...however let's not kid ourselves: the only way we even have a chance is if this social system collapses and no amount of us dumpstering or shop lifting or not having a job is going to change the fact that we have a total society looming over us. also, self sacrifice is not becoming rhetoric as far as i am concerned. why should revolt be about sacrifice? are not our lives sacrificed now as it is, are not these already the terms, is not consumerism just a petty compensation for our alienated, do as your told, lives? one more: are we not constantly being told by this society what our duty is? the vision should be phrased as a gain, not as a sacrifice. but i digress...my point is that there are a diverse array of ways to engage in some form of revolt, dropping out is only one of these, let's not fetish any of them.

That be my quality,I fetish
That be my quality,I fetish the sentimental emotions of the common person, there is no cure!!
which common person's (read
which common person's (read also as personal experience, theorist, or someone i talked to the other day) sentimental emotions do you fetish c(-;?

Sentimental emotions as
Sentimental emotions as defined by a compassionate awareness of the irreconcilable social conditions and pressures(and here I'm going to single out parents) that particularly characterize the personal plight of mothers and fathers, their love for their children,or brothers and sisters, the strongest forces in our social structure, the commonwealth, the common person's quintessential identity to have been a parent, the great equalizer of doctrines, and why is not the adoption of unloved deprived children regarded as a viable anarchist goal as much as destroying the welfare of children as some of these riotus acts may do.A zen philosophy does not put a material condition on observance, but a proportional sacrifice of profits taking into consideration the holistic contribution of the producer to community wellbeing. Many cultures maintain a cerebral ledger amongst its members, whatever the system in life we have to pay our dues. This is economic sentamentality, well I'll pay back. metamorphos

why do you think you need to have sacrifice for compassion? cannot compassion be a part of desire, rather than sacrifice? i know it is with me: i may have something i really want to do but a friend is grieveing and needs a close friend, for example, i may not want to miss out but i have to wiegh things here: is the friend or the thing i want to go do more important? if the friend is more important i am obviously going to sacrifice my other plans. but is this really self-sacrifice? fuck no. the reason is because my own interest in the hypothetical friend and our relationship (and in turn, their interest in me, and our relationship) is more important than the hypothetical event i missed out on, thus i am still meeting my own selfish desires (as is my friend via my company) but it only appears as self sacrifice on the surface. where it would be self sacrifice is if it gave me no joy and i felt no relationship at all to the person (or even loathed them) but i felt it was my duty to be there for them, even though my heart wasn't in it...and that is false love, i don't want to give false love, false love is worse than any kind of hate in it's way (or for that matter i don't false hate, but i cannot think of a reason anyone would do false hate).
my jibe at what you said about sentiment, of course, was to point out there is no common one, not really. we all have emotional attachments, but these emotional attachments are not necessarily the same, and it always rings bells with me when people speak in broad generalities about feeling because there really is no way we can know, for absolute sure, how anyone who isn't ourselves actually feels (we do not get to live in their skin and feel their sensations, we don't even really know if we have the same sensations, we can observe, always from a distance, and even if that distance is cozy and full of love it is still a distance and we would do well to keep it in mind).
mainly i bring this up because a lot of people, especially the ones who talk about self sacrifice, think that they know what is in other peoples best interest. i don't know you so i don't know if you are one of these but in my opinion the idea of there being something that is best for everyone, period, such a brushing over of our differences, is the dangerous stuff of dystopias: every utopia, since no two of us think alike, can only result in dystopia because of this: what of the people who can't fit, don't fit, and don't want to fit? this is why i hate mass society: we have never been the type of animal, we are closer to wolves than ants, we are more of a pack animal. i don't like to say that either cause it is such a generalization and people can read it the wrong way (ism, racial, sexual etc... based seperatism, rather than simply cultures of shared affinities of various types, which is what i actually mean) but what i am trying to say is we have always lived in smaller or larger groups that are more or less social with other groups and even in the mass society we live in (which really offers us not but exploitation and i don't think it ever can offer anything else and await to be proven wrong) how do people congregate? they flock to their friends and family, most other relationships are simply forced by the social structure and are more or less polite or mean spirited, well wishing, ill wishing, or indifferent, but hardly deep and meaningful.

Yeah those are good feelings
Yeah those are good feelings and meaningful.Like you say compassion is more desires, affections and a gamut of other personal emotions or actions of a deeply caring and loving nature.Sacrifice has many meanings, the loss or donation of something, destroying something of ours to assist or improve a condition,an unselfish gesture that might be indicative of having compassion.I am wary also of people harping about self-sacrifice,I got onto a line of thought that had me blurt out inaccuracies. Its OK having someone point out the weaknesses in a statement.bye

"Self-sacrifice", indeed.

Think for yourself.

Good job.

This article makes me so
This article makes me so HAPPY!
I really hate pigs...
And like I said, it's all about the mentality. If the masses tend to hate the pigs and tend to like seeing crazy stuff like explosions and whatever on TV, and they probably hate their government too, well...
Then this kind of thing might get them roused up. That's what matters. And then, the more people who get excited and join in, the more courage it gives to those who were too nervous before.
I mean, if I saw a big crowd throwing molotov cocktails and bricks and stuff at riot police... ;)
I think the hugest most
I think the hugest most obvious obstacle we face, is that most people still aren't aware of an ongoing resistance.
The media will cover a riot or 2 there and there maybe.
But shit happens all the time, no one finds out about it, and we either congratulate or criticize ourselves to death online.
We need to occupy and/or destroy the media.
We have a lot of independent news sites, lots of websites, we put out zines and publications and are away looking for places to distribute them where they won't get throw away.
We need a concrete plan to make sure that once and for all, we will no longer be ignored.
