Take what's yours, anarcho-outlaw.
In every society there have always been those who hopelessly desire to create their own lives. These passionate beings want to live wildly and relish in boundless possibility. The anarchist mantra of "no gods, no masters" embodies this spiritual outlook; for one who chooses life becomes their own master. Those who endeavor to create their existence must find ways that employ strategies unique to their situation. They write their own story. The outlaw accepts that they are an outsider, for once the pandora's box of freedom is opened, one's life cannot be the same.
An true outlaw refuses to be victimized because they live beyond the spirit of the law. They understand and look scornfully at the conditions that exist and orientate themselves from the position they are given. They cannot be positivists and do not try and change the world. Opportunism and spontaneity are charmingly conducive to this processual way of being. They understand and look scornfully at the
conditions that exist around them, and reorient their lives based on this understanding. We all know of criminals who have expropriated property, disregarded legality, and laughed at morality, but demeaning these pillars of social pain is just a beginning. When one looks at the world with disdain everything is possible.
OUTLAW THEORY ZINE CALLOUT
An anarchist life can be an incarnation of what came before. Echoing throughout linear time are the instances of anarchists, outsiders, and outlaws that reinforce each other. Their stories have the capacity to inspire strength and creativity, whether from the past or from this moment.
I want this zine to include stories of your favourite criminal exploits, illegalist rants, modern hunters and foragers tales, and jabs at the martyrdom of the milieu. Anarchy needs more outlaws. This is outlaw theory.
Please send submissions of articles, quips, stolen prose, and whatever that contributes to the anarchist outlaw lens to email@example.com by November 15, 2017.
