gotta love this type of self-indulgent meandering calling itself ontological. i think Mister Langer might need a new dictionary

what does ontological mean? especially in the anarchist context?

Ontology is an area of philosophy that questions or considers “Being/being”.

Within anarchist thought, ontological anarchism is somewhat tied to Peter Lamborn Wilson’s theory of anarchist praxis - which I, to a certain extent, reject across several poems here. I’d say that, with regards to anarchist thought, ontology is most relevant to the being of authority, to which my position is that it doesn’t - authority isn’t Real to me, I don’t consider it to exist, as it just strikes me as performative bullshit. So, in my eyes and as I sought to communicate through these poems, ontological anarchist praxis is about destroying totalitarianism, more than anything else.

I hope that is helpful in any way. If you want any greater explanation as to my meanings here, please feel free to contact me directly - I don’t check this platform often and rarely read comments sections.

You're grossly misinterpreting Peter's ontological anarchism and even more largely misunderstanding the discipline of ontology itself but in a fun way that's like watching a baby deer first learn to walk or a confused would-be zealot at the start of a great act of reification, so please do carry on.

Read Heidegger dude, then consider subjective self-awareness and how it is seperated from authority. I wont bore you with more, good luck.

PS Love the art work, well, not art, what I meant was mind vs pencil/paper binary.

In Julian Langer's pdf above, they describe themselves as a presentist, but then start talking about history as if it exists. In presentism, the basic idea is the now exists and te past or future does not exist. The other option is they could mean they're a presentist meaning they interpret the past through anachronisms. Maybe they mean both and it's a paradox.

Is the blank space under Music above a John Cage reference or is it just blank for me?

Is publicly sharing crude cell phone pics of notebook scribbles ontological anarchist practice?
