There’s no way out of this - you’re barely halfway to the last place you saw Eyepatch, when two cops grab you.

One of them holds you by the back of your jacket, the other has one of your wrists and is grabbing for the other one. That one says 1. ____________ (something oddly reassuring).

Confused by the good cop routine, you start to stutter something about how you weren't doing anything, when you remember 2.______________(some advice about how to deal with cops) from 3______________(some appropriate source of such information) and abruptly shut your mouth.

You see Eyepatch coming up behind one of the cops, and wonder if she's going to de-arrest you by herself. But then she gets tackled and you're both getting popped. The crowd that was fucking shit up is mostly getting away though, as far as you can tell.

You're handcuffed with those plastic tie thingees that bite into your skin, and you really have to pee, but you're stuck in this van with Eyepatch and five other people, just waiting for the cops to come back and take you to jail. You're preoccupied with thinking about 4. _________________ (some important thing you were supposed to do the next day), whether your family will find out about this arrest, and definitely with your bladder.

Eyepatch got more beat up than you did, and is grunting whenever she moves a certain way. "Those assholes are gonna put me in with the dudes," she mutters to you, and you're freaked out to see tears in her furious eyes. You struggle to find something comforting to say and finally offer 5. _____________________.

You wonder aloud whether someone from DSA called the cops, who seem to've gotten there pretty fast, and then find out that one of the other people in the van is from DSA, and an argument ensues, with the DSA member yelling 6. _____________________ (something explanatory, defensive, and/or exculpatory)!

Eyepatch yells at everyone to shut the fuck up, and a hostile silence falls. It's been hours in the gods damned van, and you're wondering if you're going to have to pee yourself. So it's an embarrassing relief when the cops come and you're at least off to somewhere with a toilet. Maybe. One of the other people in the van tries to talk to the driver about how they were just walking by and had nothing to do with the scene, to which the driver responds by 7. ___________________.

Finally the van stops, after taking apparently the bumpiest possible route, and the van doors open. You're shocked when the person who says they were just passing by, bolts from the open door and starts running surprisingly fast, given that their hands are tied behind them, away down a road adjacent to what seems to be the jail parking lot.

You and Eyepatch...
a. jump out after him to at least see how far you can get
b. sit there knowing how bad the odds are
c. try to push everyone out of the van in an attempt to increase the chaos and your odds
d. watch the cops try to run down the escapee, yelling at them that you're watching and they better not beat him up

2. “The most important thing to do is to get your initial reactions under control as soon as possible. It is believed that the first 45 minutes of capture are the most dangerous, because the kidnappers and captives are at their most tense and prone to impulsive behavior at this moment. The sooner you calm down, the smarter you can react to the situation.“

yeah, after seeing many videos about kidnappings I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s better to be killed on the spot by your captors (at least people will know what happened and gave a better chance at knowing who did it) than to be dragged to their lair to be tortured for god knows how long and never to be found, and escaping after enduring many years is not better

Nah, I'll take my own kidnapping on the chin and endure years of torture so I can eventually escape many many years later because I will get a book published about it with all the pain and sexual violence (I hope I get anally raped) which will become a best-seller made into a movie starring Brad Pitt, and I will become rich and retire in the Bay Area.
