"Black Panther Field Marshall" ??? -- that doesn't sound so anarchist to me!

Some anarchists do things that interact with people who are not anarchists. Get over it. It's called "political prisoner letter writing," not "anarchist prisoner letter writing."

Perhaps your preference would be that we only interact with people who already identify exactly the same way we do, and behave exactly according to (y)our norms?

Haha, your norm being the policy of Aryan Nationalist prisoners? *guffaw*

IGTT 1/10 fro accuracy

What? Have you not met any anarchists lately? That's exactly what they want.

Whoa dude, you sound like a politician.

and you, dear friend, sound like a cop.

...gotta keepem separated...

"Some anarchists do things that interact with people who are not anarchists..."

If you are talking about mainstream working people's actual social struggles then not from what I've seen! And in this case, the exception to the rule is called, "anarchists in abject grovelling fealty to Stalinists." The can't-do-anything-more-than-break-windows kind of temper tantrum "anarchists" we have in the San Francisco Bay Area just can't be enthusiastically supine enough for counter-revolutionary Stalinist scumbags -- and in this case for their most deluded Last-King-of-Scotland, Idi Amin Dada of Uganda type pretensions.

For an example of this, which spiky pretensions aside is really nothing more than utterly rank white liberal guilt, see the long article on "Fireworks" about the DAC in Oakland.

What was George Jackson going to be "Field Marshall" of in a maximum security prison, anyway? Maybe of the more vulnerable prisoners who he pimped to his fellow tough guys.

You clearly don't know shit about anti-prison struggles.

I know shit when I see it -- like when "anarchists" are suckers for Stalinism, and are motivated by white liberal guilt.

cool story brah... open a book mother fucker and read something about George Jackson and the revolts in prisons that responded to his murder. Then, think for a moment what is a smart way for anarchists to interact with that history and how his memory still lives on in prisoners' imaginations and senses of self today, instead of just trolling the internet like a fucktard.

Yo -- hella-streety posturing there, numbnuts. Open a book about "Field Marshal" (sic!) George Jackson and I do believe it will show he was involved in pimping vulnerable prisoners to his fellow tough guys. Mere anarchy is let loose upon the world, huh.

Scratch a thin layer of dirt off one of today's posturing anarcho-numbnuts and underneath you will find a conventional deluded leftist.

Again what the leftiods of the wretched 1960-1970's US New Left maintained, prisoners are not the vanguard of anything. Lumpenproletarians have no leverage against this social order. Mainstream wage earners and enlisted people in the armed forces are the segment of this society who matter most. Which doesn't mean that all of what's on your calendar is no good, but the "Field Marshall" fantasy role playing is an expression of the Marxist-Leninist counter-revolution of the 20th century, and when you are for that, you are one hundred percent no good.

Yay, finally a discerning critic of disguised leftoid prison reformists, cos thats what it is, not abolishion but rather a restructuring of terms for confinement and censure. Wage earners and armed forces FTW.

"Mainstream wage earners and enlisted people in the armed forces are the segment of this society who matter most. "

that's why you spend so much time on this website, huh? If you don't practice it, why should I listen when you preach it? You're just a loser with a grudge.

way to miss the point street posture troll. These trolls would have us abandon prison struggles entirely. Suck it shit head

What could be the difference between prisoners and political prisoners? I bet it started as an appeal to liberals. "These people are not criminals, they are imprisoned for their political beliefs!"

IGTT 3/10 for missing the point. Check out three positions against prisons and come back and try again. Troll harder in 2014!
