From It's Going Down
The first anarchist battalion has been launched in Rojava, and with that a new call for revolutionary anarchists from around the world to join them. Rojava Solidarity NYC (RS NYC) conducted an interview with the members of the International Revolutionary People’s Guerrilla Forces (IRPGF) about how they got started, how they have experienced revolutionary life and the possibilities for anarchists when an autonomous region supports the movement.

Banner drop in solidarity with the comrades who once again clashed with the patriotic mob that hit the streets of Berkeley on April 15th 2017. We don’t recognize any fatherland, we don’t kneel down before any national symbol, and we don’t dialog with any sort of fascists: we crush them!
STAY STRONG BERKELEY

The OAS, the Organization of American States, is an international organization made up of states in so-called North and South America. The OAS, based in Washington, has recently passed resolutions to suspend Venezuela’s membership from the organization, citing “Venezuela of violating the rights of its people, including by ignoring the results of 2015 legislative elections and by incarcerating political opponents. Such actions conflict with the standards of the Inter-American Democratic Charter that Venezuela has signed.” Opposition politicians in Venezuela have said that the Charter of the OAS must be respected and point to the OAS as a justification for their protests. Meanwhile, the Venezuelan government decries the OAS and such opposition politicians as inciting foreign intervention into the country.
A Critical Discussion about Armed Struggle with Anarchist Guerrillas in Rojava
At the end of March 2017, news spread that a new anarchist guerrilla group had formed in Rojava, the International Revolutionary People’s Guerrilla Forces (IRPGF). Their emergence has reignited discussions about anarchist participation in the Kurdish resistance and in armed struggle as a strategy for social change. It has been difficult to communicate with comrades in Rojava about these important questions, as they are operating in wartime conditions and surrounded by enemies on all sides. Therefore, we are excited to present the most comprehensive and critical discussion yet to appear with the IRPGF, exploring the complex context of the Syrian civil war and the relationship between armed struggle, militarism, and revolutionary transformation.
Following an antifascist attack against the headquarters of neonazi Golden Dawn party in Athens, Greece on March 30, 2017, and more than an hour later, fascists brutally attacked a passerby art student, in their usual manner, that is many against one, because the latter dared to take a photo of their rampaged offices.
