Letter by imprisoned anarchist comrade Toby Shone
Prisoners die each day chained to their hospice beds watched by bastards with keys and batons. Prison is an abomination and the only future we are fighting for is one in which it is destroyed forever. I will live and die in the way I choose.
From Rough Draft Atlanta
Hundreds of billboards and digital marketing campaigns are now part of a national effort to arrest and convict violent “anarchists” suspected of attacks against the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, according to Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum.
Schierbaum said at a Wednesday morning press conference that more than 450 billboards will go up this week in Atlanta and other major cities including Miami, Nashville, and New York. The billboards will advertise rewards of up to $200,000 announced last month for information in finding arson suspects protesting the training center, also known as “Cop City.”
From Live Like the World is Dying, S1E105
This week on Live Like the World is Dying, Eric King talks to Margaret about navigating and surviving prison.
Sean Swain is an anarchist prisoner who’s serving an indeterminate sentence in Ohio for a self-defense killing. Sean has authored 3 books (one co-authored with Travis Washington) and released an album of his music (with collaboration of a number of artists) while behind bars. Sean is also a dear friend and collaborator on The Final Straw for 10 years, now. We’re sharing here a conversation Bursts had with Sean Swain to mark the 10th anniversary of Sean’s (mostly) regular segments on the show, You Are The Resistance.
From Anarchist Black Cross Belarus
Each year we summarize repressions against anarchists and antifascists in Belarus and try to point out general trends in state violence. To continue the struggle for freedom, we should know what tools our enemies use and should understand the conditions of your comrades. To do so, we suggest reading our 2023 review.

From Act for freedom now!
On December 13th, almost one month after my release, I have been notified of an appeal by the deputy prosecutor of the court of Appeal of Euboea against the decision to suspend me, asking me to return to prison.
In this episode, we have our monthly round up of prison disturbances, as compiled by Perilous Chronicle. Afterwards, we have a conversation with Sophia Johnson, also known as Candle, who is an anarchist writer who currently serving a sentence in Oregon. In this conversation, she talks about writing in prison, and her ongoing struggle to receive adequate health care.
From It's Going Down
Message from Mexican anarchist prisoner Tiara Tempestad following the recent fundraiser to cover the fine related to her sentence.
On December 12, I reached the halfway point of my sentence which I began three years and four months ago. Since the day of my detention, a difficult process began for people close to me and I. Above all, it was difficult at the beginning not knowing what was going to happen.
Comrade Roupa’s attitude was no different from mine. Together we took political responsibility for our participation in Revolutionary Struggle, together we defended the organization’s action as political action in and out of court, and we remained consistent throughout our detention. Neither can it be intellectually claimed that Comrade Roupa “transformed” her character in prison, nor did she change her political beliefs and views and was released unrepentant with her head held high. This is actually our own political victory against the state.
