Note from Revista Regresión (Regression Magazine): This interview with Wild Reaction (Reacción Salvaje: RS) ended right after its last communiqué (August 14, 2015) and we waited until now (October 2015) to publish it in the fourth issue of the magazine, Regresión. We would like to thank everyone who made this collaboration possible. The editors of this magazine have great respect for the opinions of all of the interlocutors in this interview.

Topic of the Week - What Form Will Comments Take?

The past week or two has included joyous events like a Drupal failure due to database issues, an ongoing issue with the recent comments block due to the same, and finally a total power supply failure that took the site offline for nearly 24 hours. The site being unavailable is what I would point to as to why there has been such a major downturn in comments and traffic on the site. Unless its something else.

From Insurrection News

At dawn on September 2, 2015 we torched:

- 2 National Bank ATMs in the neighborhood of Galatsi
- 1 ATM of Alpha Bank in Patisia district
- 1 Piraeus Bank ATM in the suburb of Peristeria
- as well as smashing a Piraeus Bank ATM in the district of Galatsi

Our only motivation was our desire to attack. Attacking a prison-society that tries to mold, discriminate and classify our needs, desires and relationships and adapt them to serve it's objectives: the perpetuation of a system of repression and the strategic manipulation of subjectivity and diversity.

The infrastructures of State and capital continue to spread their tentacles, seeking to accelerate the extraction and transportation of resources to the market. The vast territory that is the Canadian North, often sparsely populated due in large part to the displacement, isolation, and genocide of indigenous peoples, is an immense source of profit; oil, gas, forestry, hydro-dams, uranium mines, etc. Various monstrous infrastructural expansion projects are currently trying to connect the Alberta Tar Sands through pipelines along the St. Lawrence river to the Atlantic.

From Crimethinc

A year has passed since the murder of Michael Brown, one of over 1100 people, disproportionately black and brown, killed by US law enforcement in 2014. The movement against institutionalized white supremacy and police violence has spread and escalated, gaining leverage on the authorities and the public imagination despite repeated efforts to coopt it. At the same time, we are seeing extra-governmental white supremacist violence reemerge as a force in the US, as it always does whenever state strategies for imposing white supremacy reach their limits.

Anarchists Smashed the Windows of East London's Crappy New Jack the Ripper Museum

Via VICE:

Last week VICE reported that a new museum that promised to celebrate the Suffragete movement and the women of East London had opened—but turned out to be a museum about Jack the Ripper, a man who is famous for mutilating and murdering women.

This week the understandable outrage has boiled over into public protest. On Tuesday the Greens, Lib Dems, Communist Party, and other left-wing groups held a demo outside the proposed museum. On Wednesday night it was the turn of anarchist rabble-rousers Class War and a bunch of their rowdy friends to voice their hostilities.

About

This project is new and still very much in it’s infancy we hope to grow and have a bigger catalogue and a full launch by Mid-Late August 2015. We are recording anarchist and related texts and distributing them in audio forms. In this way we hope to make anarchist ideas more accessible and anarchist practice more informed.
