A Brief History of Individualist Anarchism

"Andor was an individualist anarchist" - WG

From C4SS by Faruk Pak

In this article, we will explore early individualist anarchism in the US which is, in my honest consideration, the closest thing to what the concept of anarchism really is. Looking at the history of the anarchist movement, the main representatives of individualist anarchism are thinkers such as Godwin, Stirner, and Tucker.

Radical Individualism

Radical Individualism

From Anarcho-Syndicalist Federation

It is certainly true that anarchism shares the 'needs principle' with the Marxists. The needs principle states: "from each according to the ability--to each according to their need".

However, Kropotkin--and I argue we should follow in suit--says Marxism is "mere collectivism". That is to say, Marxism dissolves the individual into the will of the Marxist Political Party.

Anarcho-feminists at the dawn of the 20th century

Novatore episodes on Immediatism

via Immediatism

Enjoy three new episodes of Immediatism podcast, featuring the writings of Renzo Novatore. These singularly beautiful insurrectionary writings, poetic prose exemplifying individualist thought, should occupy a place on the shelves of those who value insurrectionary and even egoist writing.Toward the Creative Nothing is about an hour long and the favorite piece of the three. I Am Also a Nihilist will give you a quick taste. My Iconoclastic Individualism claims that "All societies tremble when the scornful aristocracy of Vagabonds, Unique ones, Unapproachable ones, rulers over the ideal, and Conquerors of Nothing advance without inhibitions."

Enemies of Society, Drawing First Blood

From Immediatism.com

This essay, Drawing First Blood, by Meme, Myself, & I, is the preamble to Enemies of Society: an Anthology of Individualist & Egoist Thought. It is both a broad overview of individualist and egoist thought as well as a deep look at the criticism of these and responses to those criticisms.

Rambles in the Fields of Anarchist Individualism — No. 2

From Libertarian Labyrinth

I expect that my method in these exploration and experiments will be much like my daily circuits of the grassy hillside, as I cover the same general ground in all kinds of light and weather. But those atmospheric effects are not to be discounted, particularly when what we are circling are some fairly protean understandings of individuality. So there will be some advantage to sorting through the impressions a bit, as I present them.

E. Armand, “On Friendship” (1928)

From The Libertarian Labryinth

As long as the vibration persists, I will remain faithful to my friendship. For friendship has nothing in common with caprice. My friendship is Adventure and Experience. Probably the most formidable of adventures. And perhaps the longest and most complicated of experiences. — E. ARMAND.

Green House Distro

Green House Distro is a collective based out of the Southeast focusing on topics of anti-authoritarian, anti-civilization, post-left, vegan, straight-edge, individualist and drop-out (lifestyle anarchy). We call ourselves nihilist because of the impending doom of climate catastrophe caused by our current set of living arrangements - civilization. We do not see any hope with this set of living arrangements. Instead of living for the future or a better day we aim to live for NOW. Destroy that which destroys you.
