From Fugitive Distro

As part of our ongoing project to open more pathways into anarchy in this territory we have decided to make a local Anarchist Directory – a small zine with information on local, public facing projects and initiatives, organization, spaces and resources as well as a selection of knowledge and advice from all of you.

Pro-abortion rally at state capitol turns into walking tour of local abortion opponents

it's a new story, they just reused the pic from a previous one

Today the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. While nothing short of the total destruction of the United States of America will be enough to secure total and lasting bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom, we can’t possibly know what all it will take to achieve this devastation because we haven’t achieved it yet so we might as well try it all. With that in mind, some anarchists attended a rally at the Washington State Capitol in Olympia this evening. We came with low expectations (well, not everyone was pessimistic), fliers, banners, and a burning desire for more. We milled about, chatted, and handed out fliers while half-listening to people variously begging everyone to vote or making good points about the effects of this new ruling in Washington and who will be most criminalized by this new precedent.

Olympia: Attack on 4 anti-abortion churches

So no arson?

from Puget Sound Anarchists

Last night we vandalized four anti-abortion churches in Olympia. All of these churches have ties to anti-abortion “crisis pregnancy centers,” religious fake clinics that manipulate mostly poor people into having & keeping children they don’t want or aren’t ready for and marrying whomever impregnated them whether or not that relationship is healthy or safe. Crisis pregnancy centers are exploitative and serve the aims of upholding the patriarchal family, a primary site of violence against women, queers, and children.

Olympia: Reflections from the Frog House Squat & MSM article

What follows is the reflections of one individual Frog House Defender.

Frog House has fallen and is in the hands of the enemy, but the struggle is far from over. We hope our failure will be the stepping stone to our and others future success.

Olympia & Seattle: Security Alert Regarding Phil Darrow

via Puget Sound Anarchists

Phil Darrow presents a risk to the broader protest community in both his methods and unclear intentions. It is always unsafe to communicate the circumstances that lead to your arrest with anyone but your lawyer, but Darrow has been demanding that information and more with no clear objective. This is an unsafe practice. Never speak about the details of your criminal case with anyone but your lawyer; and if your lawyer is asking you to speak with anyone you don’t feel comfortable with or is raising red flags as this situation is for us—finding new council is always an option. If anyone asks you about your political involvement or involvement in street actions; remind them that good security keeps our entire community safe.

Fuck the Cops & the Feds! Olympia Solidarity With PDX

submitted anonymously –

A call was put out for a demo here in Olympia in solidarity with Portland against the deployment of the federal agents. I showed up to the Heritage Park Fountain a little late but when I got there I was greeted by a crowd size I haven’t seen since the beginning of the uprising. There was probably around 150 people, 75-100 of them in bloc and geared up with helmets, shields, umbrellas, and a few gas masks.

Two reportbacks from “Fuck the 4th” march

Two reportbacks from “Fuck the 4th” march

Reportback from Impromptu Fuck the 4th March

What started as a day of chill BLM marches and fuck the 4th dance parties gave way to one of the most intensely destructive nights I think I’ve ever seen in Oly. Around 10:30ish a crowd of around 40 in all black assembled at a fountain at one end of town. I wasn’t really sure what the vibe was gonna be for the night, for Olympia a 40 deep black bloc (or march in general) is pretty big but it never feels big enough, so I was anxious. I looked up at the full moon illuminating our gathering and found some strength and comfort in that. After a few minutes of milling about some people began to chant “NO COPS, NO PRISONS, TOTAL ABOLITION” and the march took off.

The Communard – Audio Zine

From Resonance Audio Distro

For seven days during the winter of 2016, radicals, revolutionaries and ne’er-do-wells – inspired by the then unfolding revolt at Standing Rock – built a blockade encampment on the train tracks in downtown Olympia, Washington (Nisqually and Squaxin Land), in order to stop a train full of essential fracking supplies from reaching the Bakken oil fields in North Dakota. One year later the blockade reemerged and for another twelve days during the winter of 2017, participants took a stand against the industrial machinations of death.

We Are The Fire That Will Melt ICE – Rest in power, Will Van Spronsen [Olympia WA]

From Puget Sound Anarchists, Submitted Anonymously

Early this morning around 4am our friend and comrade Will Van Spronsen was shot and killed by the Tacoma police. All we know about what lead up to this comes from the cops, who are notoriously corrupt and unreliable sources for such a narrative. The story that we do have is that Will attempted to set fire to several vehicles, outbuildings and a propane tank outside the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma which houses hundreds of immigrants awaiting hearings or deportations. He successfully set one vehicle on fire and then exchanged gunfire with Tacoma police officers who fatally shot him. He was pronounced dead on the scene. We find his actions inspiring. The vehicles outside the detention facility are used to forcibly remove people from their homes and deport them, often to situations where they will face severe danger or death. Those vehicles being destroyed is only a start of what is needed. We wish the fires Will set had freed all the inmates and razed the entire Northwest Detention Center to the ground. And we miss our friend and wish from the bottom of our hearts that his action had not ended in his death.
