Toby Shone speaks from the dungeons

Write an anarchist prisoner today!

Full title: Bristol UK: Toby Shone speaks from the dungeons of Bristol prison, explaining his case.

Operation Adream is a montage, fitting together disparate, unconnected elements, typical of repressive operations in Southern Europe which has spread across the continent. This is now being deployed by the British police. Operation Adream seeks to present the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire as a continuation of the armed Marxist-Leninist revolutionary organisation November 17th. This is an important fantasy for the purposes of repression in this operation as November 17th is a proscribed group in UK. Most importantly, Operation Adream sought to present the diverse range of anarchist groups, publishing projects and prisoner support initiatives as an array of organisational hubs for the execution and glorification of terrorism.

Message in the barrel about operation Sibilla and much more by Anarchist Michele Fabiani

The investigation is aimed primarily at targeting Alfredo Cospito’s writings and those who disseminate them. The magistrates’ declared objective is to create a moat more powerful than the physical one surrounding the prison. So giving revolutionary solidarity to a prisoner like Alfredo means attracting the attention of the repression.

On the preventive seizure of Malacoda & Round Robin

Read an anarchist website today!

Full title: On the preventive seizure of malacoda.noblogs.org and roundrobin.info in the context of Sibilla repressive operation (Italy)

Following the Sibilla repressive operation of November 11, 2021, against the anarchist paper ‘Vetriolo’, the websites roundrobin.info and malacoda.noblogs.org were subjected to preventive seizure, in an attempt to block the online reading of articles published in the paper and others that the repressive forces believe were written by the investigated comrades.

Does the Sibilla predict the storm?

from malacoda

At dawn on 11 November, a number of searches were carried out in various Italian cities and six comrades were served with orders for precautionary measures: in prison for Alfredo, under house arrest for Michele, and an obligation to remain and sign three times a week for four other comrades.

27-F compas free on bail

via attaque, English translation by Act for freedom now!

The six anarchist comrades who stayed the last 8 month in preventive prison near Barcelona were liberated under obligation to pay 40.000€ bail each one! Accused of criminal association, and to act coordinated with violent actions i.e. burning a police-van at the Rambla during the 10-days-disturbs last February in Barcelona for the liberation of the political rapper Pablo Hazel.

Operation Scintilla: a two-year journey

via Roundrobin, Translated by act for freedom now!

We have decided to have a say ourselves regarding the declaration made during the appeal trial for operation Scintilla in February 2019. We are doing it now on the internet, over two years later, strong from a long, hard and enriching path. The choice of coming out now on the internet is for various reasons. Certainly it is motivated by a debate that has been going on for several months with comrades close to us on the need to widen the retelling of what happened to those who are locked up in Italian jails as well as those who live beyond national borders. Another reason comes from recently published texts which open a level of discussion that we don’t want to avoid, for the completeness of the narrative. We want to make it clear immediately that we didn’t consider the internet an adequate instrument to deal with what happened because of the narrowness of reasoning that this instrument necessarily imposes. In fact, we don’t see this space as adequate to an in-depth and sincere discussion. Therefore we want to point out the limits that this text inevitably carries with it, as it can’t reflect the complexity of the reasoning and ways we have elaborated since we started to face what we had done.

Updates on special surveillance against a comrade from Genoa

via Inferno Urbano, Translated by act for freedom now!

In the month of August the result of the appeal against a special surveillance measure against a comrade from Genoa was made known; the request for reviewing the measure, applied with all restrictions, was rejected and it appeared obvious how, even if the charge of terrorism, fundamental pillar of the prosecution theorem, was dropped, the measure remained completely in place again for the same reason, i.e. “adhesion to the anarchist ideology”, “open demonstrations of solidarity with militants of the Informal Anarchist Federation”, “support to imprisoned anarchists”, “inciting direct action”, spreading counter-information material.

Demo, riot and action against repression

via Enough 14

– fragments of an offensive weekend [Leipzig, Germany]

Leipzig. Germany. There has never really been any reason in the history of the FRG to believe that state repression is on a downward trend. Nevertheless, in recent years – and especially in the wake of the G20 summit – many have the impression that repression is increasing (not only in the FRG).

About the sentence against anarchists in November 2020

via Enough 14

Starting in 2008, the Belgian State carried out a large investigation aiming at different struggles that were in conflict with detention centres, borders, prisons and the world of authority and exploitation – always without concessions. In its sights: the anarchist library Acrata, anarchist and anti-authoritarian publications (Hors Service, La Cavale and Tout doit partir), dozens of flyers and posters, more than a hundred actions, attacks and acts of sabotage…in other words, the fight against Power in all its different expressions.

An Overview of Militant Anarchism and Anti-Fascism

In 2020–2021, the United States saw a discernible rise in armed politics and violent activism. Multiple factions and movements resorted to violence or the threat of violence to pursue their objectives, and the United States witnessed scenes it had not experienced for decades, such as armed citizens patrolling the streets in Georgia, Kentucky, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.1 Militant anarchists and anti-fascists often took to the streets during this period. On August 29, 2020, Michael Reinoehl became the first anti-fascist responsible for a killing in the United States in 25 years when he shot Aaron Danielson, a member of the far-right group Patriot Prayer, at a rally in Portland, Oregon.2

Unoffensive Animal is 5 Years Old

How old is that in dog years?

from Unoffensive Animal

We don’t have a specific calendar date, but about this time five years ago, we started this huge journey. We were born because we felt the animal rights movement needed to be more exposed to radical action and anarchism and couldn’t find any outlets that were using social media to reach out to the mainstream animal liberation community. At the same time, we felt there was a need to bring animal liberation back into the broader anarchist discussion as the radical anti-authoritarian and anarchist movement hugely lacked antispeciesist conversation. We also felt that amplifying prisoner support voices was extremely necessary.

Indonesian Black Cross Statement: the Repression of Counter-Information

Statement of the Indonesian Black Cross (WA) Against the Repression of International Counter-Information

The same thing also happened in Indonesia, the silencing and repressiveness of the counter-information media has been increasingly encouraged by the Indonesian Police, such as the creation of a “cyber police” or social media police, which one of their aims are to isolate the spread of information not only anarchist networks but other political dissidents and those who have the courage the criticize the state.
