28 Arrests, a Dozen Solidarity Protests: Summary of Situation in Spain

The final tally of what the police, hilariously, have dubbed "Operation Piñata" is, to the best of our knowledge, 28 comrades arrested and 17 buildings raided.

Of the raids, 6 targeted social centers and the others targeted houses.

14 people were arrested and charged with resistance for opposing the raids in a social center in Madrid, but as of this evening all of them have been released.

Urgent Call-Out for Mass Faxes in Solidarity with José Antúnez Becerra

Jose Antúnez Becerra has been on hunger strike for 29 days and his health has declined considerably. He has lost around 20 kilos and his levels of sugar are much below average as well as his blood pressure. We call for a massive sending of faxes as a form of pressure so that a brief response is given to his legitimate demands and so he may end his hunger strike.

The prisoner we have been supporting as Jared Chase of the NATO 3 is ready to let her supporters and comrades know that she is a trans woman who prefers to be called Maya and uses she/her/hers pronouns. She also wants to go vegan, although she is currently not able to receive adequate nutrition in general, much less according to her ethical decisions.

New wave of solidarity with detained anarchists in Minsk (Belarus)

Five actions in a row were organised on January 29 in support of anarchists, arrested in Minsk for alleged resistance to the police about a week ago. In fact all of them were detained on suspicion of participation in solidarity actions with other activists, who had been arrested at a punk concert and accused of distribution of extremist literature.

Telecom center attacked in solidarity with anarchist prisoners - Rovereto, Italy

‘On13/12/2014 a Telecom centre got attacked in Rovereto. Cameras were moved away and incendiary devices were placed in several spots. Telephone companies, besides causing environmental devastation, are on the side of the state in guaranteeing control and security.

In particular Telecom is one of the responsible for the video-conferencing method imposed [during trials] on prisoners in Italy.
