<table><tr><td>From <a href="http://eastbayanarchist.com/">East Bay Anarchist</a>

We are excited to present the First East Bay Anarchist Book Fair December 1, 10am - 8pm, at Humanist Hall in Oakland, CA. Is it too late for dreamers, in a world of microchips and melting permafrost? What would it mean to break every rule? Can prideful, mumbling, and mournful beasts, such as ourselves, learn to live among one another, without gods or masters? At the East Bay Anarchist Book Fair, we will ask of each other these and other questions, in a series of facilitated conversations. Topics include: PLEASURE, CRISIS, VIOLENCE, and THE EVENT. A collection of short texts will be distributed in advance and available on the internet. Conversations are open to everyone. No prior experience is necessary. The experiences you've gained—living in a world that is choking to death on its own riches—is all you will ever need. At the end of the day, we will come together to try to answer the burning question of this and every time: ‘What is to be done?’</td><td><img title="mumble mumble" src="http://anarchistnews.org/files/pictures/2009/awesome.jpg"></td></tr></ta...
We are calling all anarchists and radicals, young and old, new and seasoned, to experience East Bay Anarchy at its funnest and finest. We have organized a day of conversations and a weekend of music and dancing, that will promote th face to face engagement and connections necessary for the growth of the radical movement both in the east bay and across the region. There will also be radical vendors and organizations from all over the east bay sharing their projects and their wares. Bring your questions, interests, and ideas to this gathering; look for new projects, new partners, and new ways to look at new and old problems alike.

How does one sign up for a punk boxing bout?

Punk's not what it used to be!

Hit up these two, they are running and taking the bets for the punk boxing.

it got rescheduled for december 8th

Shit, AK Press gon' be there? I'm in.

Well, AK Press workers got to put in at minimum 40 hours of work a week, sometimes 60-80 hours...so they better be there. Those books don't sell themselves.

"Can prideful, mumbling, and mournful beasts, such as ourselves, learn to live among one another, without gods or masters?"

As long as the SSI checks keep rolling in you can -- based on your track record you certainly can't do it in the larger world. Having said that I think I can make the scene here with my fellow subculturalists; it falls between the dates for the 'Star Trek' convention and my big Dungeons and Dragons role-playing event.

That was funny. See "Revolutionary Struggle trial" story above for the opposite.

i'm sure i don't want to know what 'freightedge' is...
