"Colonization" in the Cronaca Sovversiva

From The Transmetropolitan Review

In the interests of fostering physical media, the text of ‘Colonization’ is print only.

A decade before Vladimir Lenin wrote his Imperialism and years before Rosa Luxemburg wrote her Accumulation of Capital, an Italian anarchist named Antonio Calavazzi wrote a short article titled ‘Colonization,’ first published in the Cronaca Sovversiva anarchist newspaper in 1906. Taking up less than a single page, this article was actually just one of many Italian anarchist texts dealing with colonialism, and unlike their English-speaking counterparts, the Italians had been critiquing colonization for a decade, starting with the First Italo-Ethiopian War of 1895.

Anti-Authoritian Contingent to the March 28th No Kings Rally in So-Called Olympia!

From Puget Sound Anarchists

This call is made with an assumption: We are not alone

Obscured by an ocean of American flags, away from the nonprofits & usual predatory orgs that see any struggle as a fundraiser or recruitment drive, there are others amongst the crowd who feel the same anger at inaction. This anger is isolating. The normalized horrors of everyday life & survival is unbearable enough without a rally full of supposedly radical chants left unactualized. We want to break with that normalcy, we want to act together, and are looking for the opportunity to do so (or in our better moments, making that opportunity & taking it).

Against war & militarism, governments & the state, capitalism that cannot live without war!

From Kurdish-Speaking Anarchist Forum

While opposing and condemning the US-Israeli war against Iran, we oppose and condemn the antisemitic war of the Islamic regime of Iran against (Israeli civilians and against the people of Kurdistan, Khuzestan, Baluchistan and Azerbaijan). We also declare our opposition to the war and attacks of the Pakistani government on Afghan cities.

Iran: They supported the dictator when our voices were silenced!

From Anarchist Front
March 15, 2026

I'm writing for you from Iran, sitting in front of TV and watching Pro-Hamas and pro-Islamic Republic protests by western lefties and anti-war activists! Protesters are carrying the Islamic Republic flag, and the Islamic regime in Iran is happily showing them as its international supporters! Maybe the protesters think they are standing against the Imperialism or Trump or maybe they think they are supporting Palestine. Which I can strongly say is a great misunderstanding.

Diamond Dave Whitaker, Rest in Power Brother!

From libcom.org
March 7, 2026

The first time I ever saw "Diamond" Dave Whitaker, he was wearing this ratty-assed army style olive jacket with a huge round patch on the back with a peace sign, with a rainbow hued tie-dye background, at the top announcing "Four Generations of Hipstory,” with four words around the outside: BEAT, HIPPIE, PUNK, SKINS. He took a lot of shit for that last one, so he always qualified it by saying he aligned with SHARP = Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice.

The Relevance of the Prairieland Conviction to Printers and Zine Distributors

A COLLABORATIVE DRAFT STATEMENT REGARDING THE RELEVANCE OF THE PRAIRIELAND CONVICTION TO PRINTERS AND ZINE DISTRIBUTORS (posted without editing and without talking to anyone who might know more about the case than we do. We would rather open the dialogue & polish in the comments)

If you haven't been following the Prairieland "antifa terrorist enterprise" case, it ended pretty fucking bad. Comrades were convicted on federal felony charges based on activities such as owning a printer and moving a box of zines into a car.

Anarchist comrade Dena in prison transfer to Kebon Waru prison before trial

From Dark Nights - Indonesia

Imprisoned anarchist comrade and rapper, Dena (Maditya Dena) a.k.a Apip a.k.a Scoobydoomz, has been transferred to Kebon Waru prison in Bandung from West Java paramilitary police headquarters. This has finally occurred due to his charges being filed with the court. Dena is accused of the destruction of Hana Bank in Bandung, along with comrade Adit, who is also accused in the same case and faces trial. Dena is suffering with health condition related to his HIV+ status and in prison it is difficult to consistently obtain the meds, which costs money. Dena had been kept isolated from the rest of Chaos Star comrades. It is expected that Dena and Adit will face two years or less for the property destruction, however Adit also faces 25 years for the bombing of a police outpost, in an adjacent trial, relating to an action in 2024.

The Anarchist Plot To Steal The Mona Lisa

From The Transmetropolitan Review

Few people know that the French anarchists of the 1890s funded their movement through burglary, and even fewer know that anarchists stole the Mona Lisa from the Louvre in 1911. However, fans of the hit Netflix show Lupin have already ingested the legacy of those anarchist burglars, for the titular Lupin was based on the legendary anarchist burglar Alexandre Marius Jacob, head of the infamous gang of Nightworkers, whose daring thefts resonate even today in 2026.
