He reveals that to ask a blind person to understand vision is as good as asking those who can see to understand a sense like magnetic fields or a whale echolocation, which is impossible. Edison goes on to list a few more things that a blind person finds difficult to understand. He says, "On a flat piece of paper, I don't understand how you could see a car. Sculpting makes a lot more sense to me because it's three-dimensional."http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/tommy-edison-blind-people-vision-yout...
These connections that appear to be unique in those with profound blindness suggest that the brain "rewires" itself in the absence of visual information to boost other senseshttps://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/03/170322143236.htm
People who are blind use parts of their brain that normally handle for vision to process language, as well as sounds – highlighting the brain’s extraordinary ability to requisition unused real estate for new functions. The finding builds on previous research showing that the parts of the brain responsible for vision can learn to process other kinds of information, including touch and sound, in people who are blind.https://www.newscientist.com/article/2147696-blind-people-repurpose-the-...
However, people who become blind later in life can perceive colours synaesthetically.
i have a challenge for emile:
explain your ideas using solely your own words, and a vocabulary that could be understood by a reasonably literate 9th grader. try to do it as concisely as possible.
"dear emile -- i'm an illiterate 9th grader, explain to me ideas without using big words."
"and emile said" NOTHING YOU IDIOTS, EMILES DEAD, HES LOCKED IN MY BASEMENT HAHA
Emile hasn't replied here for several months, since @critic whupped his ass.
If he was here, I'm sure he'd tell you that he can't explain himself in 9-year-old friendly language because 9-year-old friendly language necessarily embeds realist assumptions.
He's a self-contradictory mess, but you can probably find plain-English accounts of "nondualism" or "advaita" from a simple Google search.
He is here still in the memory of all non-dualist influenced anarchists.,.
