my take on the shifting pronoun usage in the BAB report back is that the comrade wishes to remain unidentified and unidentifiable.

ok but i like the idea of a machine-encouraged gender fluidity.

i for one welcome our gender-resistant computer overlords...

the agender agenda, totally for it!

YES.... same old neoliberalism Vs neoconservatism. Trans vs Florida Republicans: Endgame.

But no, I only care about personal autonomy as the ultimate form of freedom. Gender abolition is yet just more hypercivilized culture. And be warned that TRAAAAAAAAANS is in the way of it... as it's not an agenderist agenda. Now get your 2/3rd daily dose of soy milk, citizen.

Upon relistening our discussion of subculture in the moment seems to focus heavily on the majority white subcultures defined in the orbit of punk, in which exchange from culture potentially outside of their own is taken up as commodities to be brought to the mainstream. However subcultures that were not primarily white are similarly subject to this effect of capital commoditizing and appropriating subcultural signifiers in very similar ways, but often with more direct stripping and whitewashing implicit in said appropriation to expand its potential as a commodity to different consumer subject. disappointed i didn't think to make that point in the moment, nerves get in the way of organizing thoughts. Xoxo

It's the only fetishism of mine in which i am ashamed of participating :(

this beginning of this topic of the week converattion ws kindof disappointing. the ellision of culture or ethnicity wtih race without any pushback, the assumption that any race conversation is automatically about black and not-black/white, that's all disappointing.

but the discussion about subculture and how it exists in a capitalist framework that is desperate for The New, that was pretty good.
