Okay, well, can I repost my earlier thread with my texts on Anarcho-Pacifism?

I don't know how to delete the first thread because I posted it anonymously.

You don't have to leave any

You don't have to leave any of this up, really. The forums are probably more for the content of the website than general discussion, huh? I hadn't really considered that and do apologize.

you’re not doing anything

you’re not doing anything wrong. just using the forums, which are rarely used. the regulars mostly just post low effort comments under the articles. i think you’re giving the forums a good use. sad it’s not more active for you.

Thanks, anon.

Thanks, anon.

You've been a registered user

You've been a registered user for two days or so and in that time you've posted more than 10 different forum posts. I'd call that spamming and a good reason for deleting some of your posts, especially the non-anarchist related ones. I'm glad you're excited about the forum and using it, but it seems you are really just spamming conversations here - so perhaps a little more slowly, with a focus on creating longer meaningful thought out posts [quality > quantity].

your opinion def counts,

your opinion def counts, specially since ur mod, and overall you do have a point, and it’s legit advice, but: are they doing any harm? they just want some anarcho human interaction, and the forums rarely get used anyhow. they’re probably as lonely and bored as i am.
maybe point them out to the irc, or mastodon, or a better platform for faster conversations.

but yeah, reasonable thing to point out by you.

I've watched this slowly

I've watched this slowly unfold and have noticed that another poster has recently registered, by the name of LeWay, who seems to just do quality rather than quantity. Maybe you should follow his advice and leeds regardinģ anarch tendencies, just my 5 cents, peace.

I didn't really discount that

I didn't really discount that they should be deleted. I'm not really trying to spam up yr base. I'm just bored.

Can I repost the thread on

Can I repost the thread on Walter Benjamin and A Cavalier History of Surrealism and the thread on the Solidarity pamphlets in like a week or something because I did want to talk about those things?

if you have an excess of free

if you have an excess of free time you could spend some of it developing ideas that are more substantial than throwing out a dozen small forum posts. You could even start writing topics of the week if you wanted to. at the very least, I'd encourage you to submit less frequently and with a little more effort for the content.

I think part of the issue is that this isn't a very active forum - looking at a forum where one person's name is attached to many of the threads is annoying, and while you say you're not spamming, submitting the number of posts you in such a short amount of time is spammy behavior. Maybe your posting in it will encourage more people to participate - some are responding to your threads - but it can also have the opposite effect of repelling people as well.

I bet they don’t even know of

I bet they don’t even know of how the TOTW (Topic of the Week) works yet.

I encourage you daydreamsday to write up and send topic of the week ideas to their email if you’re interested. Usually they have a shortage of sent prompts, and have to make them up themselves.

You can also submit that article you wanted to publish directly to the site, using the “submit” button and form.

to daydreamsday

using the forums as a way to talk to the collective kind of sucks. it's fantastic that you're excited about talking to people and have lots of things you're interested in, but yea, the overwhelming number of forums you've dumped here makes conversation on any one of them less likely, i would guess.
there are other sites where you could also be starting conversations, like anarchy101.org, if you haven't already checked it out. as for here, if you want to ask thecollective a question, email us please. and we always do appreciate (as anon previously indicated) people submitting things for topic of the week, and editorials (if we can understand them enough to read them) for the anews weekly podcast, for example.

to thecollective

Why not just banning this annoyance and removing their pointless comments? Why do you insist all the time on letting some of the worse trolls have it their way here?

I wasn't trying to be unfair

I wasn't trying to be unfair to the collective and did apologize. I will just create a general discussion thread so that my threads don't take up all of the space on the forum. I just meant that the quantity of topics seems to be more than usual because not enough people use the forum. If I need to contact the collective later, I will do so via e-mail.
