It is with a heavy heart that we share that our friend and comrade Nikola Shterjov passed away yesterday.
Shterjov was one of the most experienced, solidary and persistent fighters for freedom and a better world, with all the initiatives, protests, actions and organizations that he was a part of in the last decade and more. Many walls throughout Skopje will forever bear his messages.
His contributions, humor and memory will be forever woven into the hearts of all of us who had the privilege of standing shoulder to shoulder with him.
He was one of the most frequent visitors to the Balkan Anarchist Book Fair and actively involved in the organization of this year's edition in Skopje, so we would like to dedicate this BAB to him.
Goodbye Shterjov, you brought a lot of light into our lives, after you our lives will be emptier.

Why do do many of these obituaries not give the age of the subject of the piece? They can't be afraid of getting them in trouble with the cops at this point, can they?

"It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our comrade, Nikola Sterjov (1991-2026).
Nikola was one of the founders of SC Dunja, and he was active in numerous initiatives and organizations even before Dunja was founded. We witnessed only a fraction of the help he provided to many people, both known and unknown.
We will forever remember him for his sense of humor and his ability to make a joke out of just a single word or sentence. There was no one who didn't love and respect him.
We have lost a great comrade in every sense of the word. We will not forget you!
For those who wish to attend the friend's final farewell, we will post information as soon as we can."

Okay, thanks. Such a young person as well. That's a real shame. Not that it's necessarily good when a person in their sixties or seventies dies, either.
