they're not afraid of their subjects, they're just looking for easy justifiable targets (scapegoats) to test their toys, like that cop that tased and shot that pet mini donkey, because they don't get to use them enough to their liking. cleaner brands are not afraid of stained fabrics, they use them to sell they products. if you stop selling, people stop buying, so they're always selling. marketing and publicity (propaganda, info, disinfo, spectacle) is an increasing percentage of their resource allocation. cleaner brands don't have an ideological mission to create a world without stains, although people with such delusions might use their products. you can also hire a cleaning company, and you don't have to scrub a single tile. the cleaning company wants to stay in business, and buying cleaning supplies is always getting more and more expensive, and they also have to spend time on publicity (social media manager content creator). yes, this is an extended metaphor.

targets with coherent narratives are easier to deal with than seemingly random stuff that happens, because they're rational, legible, and predictable. if there's not a simple narrative, a simple narrative needs to be created, again and again, to be able to sell the target on paper. it's mostly pro forma, verisimilitude is sometimes valued, but not strictly required.

These people still believe the war isn’t lost, your logic is astute and correct but it will fall on deaf ears. Probably a commodity there as well. Hate ICE? You’ll love DEAF EARS. Then a Deaf Ears logo, a flag, t shirt, books, maybe a historic convention where a split occurs, Deaf Ears (M) in a bitter rivalry with Deaf Ears (A) lasting centuries. Maybe even a post Deaf Ears.

The introduction of the topic of the week is a clear example of the distroist creep within anarchist news as a podcast. If the collective continues allowing distroists in our spaces, we can say with certainty that audio quality in our spaces will cease to exist within the anarchist space. The topic of the week should make space for the kinds of nuanced conversations that are open to all who, including those are not familiar with our space. If we cannot hold space for new people, space
