Even with their problems Greek anarchos still remain a great standard or measure for other anarchists in the West. If you look at the so-called anti-gentrification groups in NA... wtf did they do against the spread of Air BnB? Why does it always have to be the most obvious, paper-thin, repulsive referents for gentrification that get all the hate, when the more liberal progressive aspects of it enjoy a lofty critical dead angle? Because those same petty-bougie liberal caps have been taking part in this anti-gentry bullshit struggles in the first place, me thinks, condemning all the more conservative aspects of gentrification so that the "unopposable" aspects such as "non-White" or "LGBT" people getting the added value housing and other signifiers of luxury (German cars, spread barber shops and fancy restaurants, etc).

Gentrification is just part of a capital accumulation process. They've been confusing the actors with the process, by looking only at a specific, despised category of actors, so that they can't have a clear understanding of the process itself.
