For some people on this earth, this is a great world with a fantastic relationship and with more tech, it's going to get even better! I say this because you wrote 'we'...who is 'we'? I am not convinced that there was a time when humans and non-humans (except pre-fire perhaps) shared space. Layla AbdelRahim speaks to this by saying what are humans prepared to give up. Obviously she speaks and writes in way detail concerning matters of who decides to eat who: hierarchies etc. Tears are one thing, the non-humans may reply, what fuckin' good do tears do for them? Just sayin.' Put away your fire and come and join us is something else they may say?
