relationship is not the only thing happening in work. in fact, emphasizing that aspect does a disservice to one's understanding. a. employer can mean a person or a conglomerate. b. some employers can be worked around with ease. c. some co-workers are far more significant than employers (for good or ill). d. etc, and e. none of this takes into account the actual labor, the activity that you spend time doing, which has even greater range of possibilities, and is an essential component of anything called work.
