I liked the wendys piece too but of course it was written from the perspective of ... not armed struggle? and being reasonably off put by the flexing of armed militants? it's great analysis but from what I remember, they were doing the more familiar barricade support and defense stuff that insurrectionaries have commonly done for decades. So arguably, this piece is on the other side of the fence there. I don't know if this writer practices what they preach but if they do, it would be dumb as shit to admit it openly.

I'm not living in the US context but if I was, seems like the prospect of ending up like michael reinoehl is at the very least, a serious consideration for militants.
