Detecting elements of anarchism, like say traces mutual aid, is not overwhelmingly anarchist, since Kropotkin proposed this principle as a way to describe a certain type of behavior that can be observed among members of the same species and between different species. Observing elements of such behavior among humans is unremarkable, common even among the staunchest authoritarians and bigots.

It's very academic to take any event and force it through some pet categories of some preferred model or theory, to make some convenient photogenic conclusions. There was no need to shoehorn anarchism when reporting about these current events. The anarchist variables that were conjured up have very little explicative power in this context. They seem to be an afterthought requirement to merit them a spotlight on CrimethInc. Thus, merely anarchist if you squint, or through unintentional cross-contamination.

Nevertheless, I'm happy for "[t]he fact that these protests succeeded..." and that the "Farmers Defeated the Government of India". I will add India to the list of anarchist jurisdictions, along with New York, Portland, Rojava and Chiapas.

Long live anarchy!
