It's not nearly as informative about Hong Kong itself as the above Crimethinc interview, but it gives reasons why Hong Kong concerns the rest of the world's proletariat or however you like to call yourselves (dispossessed/ marginals/working class/.................[fill the gap] ), namely it looks at those aspects of the current movement that try to resist the technology of social control there and compares them with the development of these thing in mainland China, and how this is spreading throughout the world - whether in the demockracies or the dictatorshits. It also includes reflections on Facebook, online totalitarian leisure, scientific developments in general, Google in China, drones, a chronology of events in Hong Kong over the years, etc.
