There are a number of things about this article that are inaccurate - which isn't surprising, because it was written on June 30 by someone in Montreal, who may not know all the things. Basically, though, Cedar wasn't on hunger strike even on Sunday, June 30, because by Thursday, June 27, they were eating food (Cedar was aware by that time that the arrest wasn't "wrongful" per se, i.e. having to do with presence at Pride, but instead because of speech at the community meeting on June 18).

Also, the other people arrested on Friday, June 28, in Hamilton, were released by Sunday, June 30.

It's strange how this article was only posted yesterday, 10 days later.
