The techniques of production of daily living conditions in primitive societies were a result of tradition, of a long-developing process of refinement and adaptation. What is best suited for our age and context is the craft of doing less polluting and demanding shit out of recycled stuff, as we are navigating on a sea of mass commodity.

No expertise is needed to understand how a primitive wood cooking stove works or how to make it. You just need three rocks of similar size (a few inches big is enough) put them at a few inches distance in a triangle formation; light up any firestarting materials in the middle; add small branches 'til you get a good flame; then add bigger, dry branches through the side openings that you just gotta push gently as the fire consumes them, to maintain the flame. Then you put whatever cooking pot over the rocks. This thing can theoretically burn for entire days so people can keep cooking stuff on it one after the other. This is the stuff the PrimTech guy won't show you, because basically he'll fucking try to build a gas factory so to power a primmie gas stove, or something. I'm surprised there hasn't been any Youtube spoofs of him already, or I haven't found these, for how his vids are bordering on Zucker bros level of satire.
