i've only watched / listened to the Kevin Carson episode. i don't think i had heard him speak before nor did i realize he sounds a bit like Chomsky, (in delivery, not necessarily in content).

Cyber, i really enjoyed this conversation. i don't agree with KC on a lot (like the efficacy of voting) but i appreciate his rationale for taking such stances. i also liked his breakdown of the cycles of capitalist boom & bust, ie, what has been going on since the 70s, comparing that to the 30s, and how that affects possibilities for anarchy.

i may be a broken record on this but it sounds like some of what Carson is advocating for is a kind of Bolo'bolo type situation. lots of smaller scale projects everywhere, rather than the global monstrosity of now. he didn't say that, i'm inferring.

also of interest, how drones are affecting large scale military adventures, lots of food for thought and grounds for further research.

the berthier one is interesting too, if you can handle some in depth history talk. CD is doing a better job here than in previous episodes with questions and focus, seems more prepared.

would be nice if there were more links to books mentioned, but you know...

i have now watched the Berthier episode. yeah, a link to or just the author name of the great book not one in 10,000 anarchists has heard of.... might be nice to have.
yes, much history. amusing how the slippage of understanding starts early.
