I picked up a copy of this booklet “anarchist fictions” at Constellation, and thought I’d make a little appreciation post, in part because I’m liking the text and also because I haven’t seen much celebration of each others’ projects on here much.

In a sea of “new” theory that we’ve read 40 years ago, the emphasis on fiction is refreshing. I’d love to see a reading get organized in Montreal, if stuff in these pages, but also of anarchist texts in general. Anarchists could do with more metaphors. Metaphors could do with more anarchism. I’d love to show up to more events in an anarchist cultural scene :)

Thanks for putting this out yall

More interesting question: Aren't some urban liberal anarchoids living a fiction already? Not enough people do Baudrillard, and Disneyland wasn't the only postmodern hyper reality.
