From Debate Me, Bro by mk zariel & Hayden R.

a reader asked how we handle conflict in anarchist spaces. so

and i are co-editing a series of guest posts on this topic—specifically your stories. tell us about your messiest affinity group drama, your transformative justice process, who’s cancelling who on Mastodon, how you deal with it when every anarchist you know is upset at each other, and the times when conflicts have been resolved and helped you come back stronger and freer.

what you can submit: anything that would make sense in a Substack post, is from a queer/trans perspective, and is a personal narrative about conflict in anarchist spaces. Memoir / flash memoir, poetry (including nontraditional forms), hybrid works, work in translation, visual art and photography, scripted RPGs (as long as they’re personal), humor, one-act plays, and incoherent rants are all fair game.

how to submit: email debatemebro@riseup.net with your submission either attached or in the body of the email. please include the name and email you use for Substack. anyone accepted can request a yearlong substack comp ($50 value).
