Munich is dead?
Machismo, excessive drinking, and conservative drabness seem to be inescapable in Bavaria. In reaction to this backwater there has always been a fierce anarchist movement in Munich. We want to carry on the flame and continue the authentic bavarian traditions of the November Revolution 1918 and the Bavarian Soviet Republic: Against war, against peace, for revolution!
So, from 2.-4. of October, we want to hold an anarchist gathering with you all! We want to provide a space where anarchists from all of Europe, maybe even the world, can meet each other, share ideas, and develop strategies to react to the urgent questions of our time.
Our focus is on militarization and the continuing immiseration of the people. The government leaders want the general mobilisation. If you fall by the wayside, you’re classed as subhuman. We as the anarchist movement need to go on the offensive, instead of senselessly pleading to politicians and begging from the “social state”. For this, we must coordinate and have a common strategy.
We have already started organizing distros/book tables, skillshares, music and discussions. Bring in and organize your own ideas, write us a mail, or just start a spontaneous action when you’re here. Our main interest is in meeting new people, creating ideas together and through this, reconnecting Bavaria with the movement in other places. Organize, collect ideas and prepare statements and texts to bring. We’re not going to spoon-feed you, everyone needs to take responsibility. So the event will be whatever we make of it!
Up with anarchy, down with the cell of order!
