Anarchist Developments in Cultural Studies (ADCS) is an international peer reviewed and open access journal to the study of new and emerging perpsectives in anarchist thought. ADCS is an attempt to bring anarchist thought into contact with innumerable points of connection. We publish articles, reviews/debates, announcements and unique contributions that: (1) adopt an anarchist perpective with regards to analyses of language, discourse, culture, and power, (2) investigate various facets of anarchist thought and practice from a non-anarchist standpoint, and (3) investigate or incorporate elements of non-anarchist thought and practice from the standpoint of traditional anarchist thought.

It seems strange there's a academia journal dedicate to discussing anarchism. I get why there is one, the name of the game at universities is too publish, publish and publish by academics to keep their job.

Mind blowing response. I suppose you're the odd ball then. Anarchists have been greatly suspicious of the academy due to it being an elitest institution that reproduces the power structures of the state and capitalism verbatim. Now you're suggesting that anarchists, such as yourself, don't find it suspect anymore, but embrace it instead. Very odd.

You seem to lack the ability of reflection and apparently don't have a basic understanding of what an internet troll is. You use the term "troll" like the boy that cries wolf. Unfortunate, but you do you.

what a strange leap of logic! i didn't say they weren't suspicious, the academy is a self perpetuating career thing. it's pretty standard self interest on their part, about as suspicious as anyone else who wants to sell you something you can't eat, wear or live inside of.

you originally sounded like you'd never encountered this particular hustle before? which would imply you live under a rock

anyway Tim, I think you're an asshole too! so we share that in common :)

Much an identity study. I wonder how much of it i would have to read before knowing what they mean with their word choices. There's definetly a glass cieling involved, its important to ignore the epithets of the people who use this site if you want to have fun decoding it.
