From Anarcho-Syndicalist Review (via e-mail list)

Fellow Workers,

ASR #78 has just gone on the press, and will mail out to subscribers next week. This issue explores labor and the climate crisis, the McDonaldization of Labor, Kurdish Resistance, and many other issues. The Table of Contents is at https://syndicalist.us/2019/11/25/asr-78-winter-2020/

We will be posting next week an online-only article, a review essay on Private Government and the folly of neoliberalism. (We previously published a review of the same book, and will also post that review to our website.)

Our FaceBook page continues to be active. Among recent posts is a position paper by the Spanish CGT metalworkers federation noting that they have been calling for a green transformation of the auto industry for 11 years now. https://www.facebook.com/groups/anarchosyndicalistreview/permalink/31770... There are also posts on the Little Rock teachers strike against privatization, the unfolding scandal in the United Auto Workers, the Vermont AFL-CIO's reconsideration of its traditional policy of backing candidates for political office who claim to back labor, but do nothing once in power, etc.

We have several new books and a 2020 labor history calendar available for purchase at http://syndicalist.us, as well as a full list of ASR back issues going back to 1986. And if you're not a subscriber, you can order a sample copy or take out a subscription.
