CALL FOR ABSTRACTS (Presentation of Papers)
Deadline 08/25/2025
We invite all people interested in the relationship between Anarchism, Culture, and Education, whether through academic or independent research, or through participation in libertarian initiatives or autonomous movements in the field of education, to register to present papers at the Communication and Debate Roundtables and engage in dialogue with paper presenters and the audience.
The Roundtables will consist of presentation sessions with guest comments, followed by a debate.
GPAEC proposes organizing the event based on two Thematic Axes:
AXIS 1: Anarchist Education, Science and Culture in Ibero-America;
AXIS 2: Autonomous movements and libertarian education in Latin America .

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING PAPERS TO THE COMMUNICATION AND DEBATE BOARDS:
Submissions to the Communication and Debate Panels are free upon registration and completion of the requirements listed below. All participants whose papers are accepted and who present in person during the event will receive a certificate.
DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION: August 25, 2025.
RESULT OF ABSTRACT EVALUATION: until August 31, 2025.
Papers submitted by undergraduate and graduate students, high school students, teachers of basic education, higher education, people involved in social movements and other interested parties will be accepted.
We request submission of unpublished works.
Each submitted work may contain from one (1) author to three (3) co-authors, and only 1 (one) work per author will be accepted.
Submission of papers must be in the Summary format, according to the indicated model/template.
It is intended to publish, later, works in virtual proceedings of the event, however, authors will be asked to produce an Expanded Summary, the format of which will be informed after the event.
Registration and submission will be made via email.

Each file must have the following title: abstract + author’s surname (for example “resumo-kropotkin.doc”).

Length: 200 to 250 words, text only.

The abstract must have the following structure: Title, Author(s), Summary, Keywords and present in general terms: theme, object/subject of the research, methodology, results and/or conclusions.
EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Relevance and pertinence of the work;
Suitability to the event theme and the chosen Thematic Axis;
Originality of the work.
ORAL PRESENTATION OF THE COMMUNICATION:
The work will be presented by the author and/or co-author(s) in person on a date and at a location defined by the organization and will have a maximum time of 15 minutes for presentation, followed by 10 minutes of comments by the invited debater and the remaining time for questions from the audience and answers from the presenters.
