In this episode of Immediatism podcast, Cory's points of view get heavily critiqued by a theorist who tends toward Stirner and D&G. Cybernetics is thoroughly described. Postmodernism and poststructuralism are described in terms of what they attempt to do and how they function in academia. The anonymous author reminisces about a time (prior to the 2010's) when anarchists did not used to talk in terms of cybernetics.

The email friend makes a good point about indigenous folk being the few who do not think or behave in a cybernetically relational world. This is because their spiritual culture still dominates their identity rather than the modern Western pragmatic economy which creates the cybernetic hive mentality resembling the Borg.
Cory should read Heidegger and discover her inner autonomous being.

I can't help it for Being-in-the-world, but I know that at every moment in time, I have a choice, independent of others, independent from cybernetic thought processes.

i just listened to it as well and imo, they were pretty careful to say something more like ...

"here's some of the ways I think cybernetics has ruined most people's thinking and here's some examples of people who could be reasonably argued to not have had much cybernetic influence in their thinking."

you don't need to risk essentializing any categories of identity (like, indigenous folks) to make this point. it would be true of anyone who's been blissfully unaware of cybernetics and free of its influences. anyone who's managed to exist far from the centers of empire and maintains their independent ontologies or worldviews or whatever.

Good points! After Heideggy Cory should definitely read Daddy Stirner to spiritually deepen her communist egotistical relationship with God and the good authority.

Based. I am writing a primer on Stirner since many so called anarchists don’t understand his communist spirituality because of poor translation. Maybe Cory will read it on the podcast?

Over and over again they insist on subsuming the individual into their party.

Stirner was not a communist. He doesn't believe in Labor, or Homo-Economicus. There's no Self/Other split there either (necessary for communists and their categories of belief).

Property is taken to literally by some. It's a play on your chemical/physical make-up. It's to no longer look at the world via ideology, labels, categories first but the underlying relationships that make up the world.

So no, I don't see some communist spirituality (for which struggle sessions replace the confessional, and factories the church/temple), which can't even be a thing anyway since life is make up of more than industrialism, labor concepts, politics/politik, humans. Communism is more a conceptualization of a political religion human european 1800s industrial compulsory labor practices than anything (with sometimes the insistence that the entire human species must be made to conform to this one type of outdate thought with millenarian missionary zeal). Its time was specific, whereas all we have is NOW.

Stirner will always be fresh as Lao Tzu, and Beyond Good and Evil Nietzsche because they're not just situated in the realm of the abstract (we are intiuitive creatures, and the livingspace is the primary organizing influence of all life...not the human mind).

I am not clear where Cory was being critiqued. Just a blathering barrage of academic flotsom.
