Forms-of-Life

Has anyone else read Giorgio Agamben? I really like his writing, but, I felt like he didn't adequately explain the concept of "forms-of-life" in The Use of Bodies. I have a vague grasp on it, but, ultimately don't know well enough what "forms-of-life" are so as to be able to define them. I feel like most of what I understand of the concept comes from Introduction to Civil War, which I should reread as it has been a while since I read it last. From what I understand, the concept was developed by Giorgio Agamben. Did I just not pay enough attention while reading The Use of Bodies? Can anyone help clarify to the concept?
