From forum

The darkling plain is here. This is the waste land: England, America, Russia, China, Israel, France....

And we are here as victims, or as spectators, or as perpetrators of tortures, massacres, poisonings, manipulations, despoliations.

Hic Rhodus!

This is the place to jump, the place to dance! This is the wilderness! Was there ever any other? This is savagery! Do you call it freedom? This is barbarism! The struggle for survival is right here. Haven't we always known it? Isn't this a public secret? Hasn't it always been the big public secret?

How Civilisation encroached on free peoples!

On every continent scribes, traders, & kings, promoted division of labour, professional armies, social discipline, nationalist, ethnic, & class, fervour.

Hic salta!

The car is on fire, and there's no driver at the wheel. And the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides. And a dark wind blows.

Men who were much but had little now have much but are little. Let's be much again! is an anti-civ forum that's been finding its bearings over a few unstable incarnations (the past two were on the address It has now found a seemingly permanent home at with someone new running and hosting it. is for everyone who's beginning to question the very roots of everyday life and its reproduction, and for those who have simply had enough of this shit, and for everyone in-between. Hell, even anti-anti-civ trolls who want to point out that wearing glasses is hypocritical transhumanism, or whatever, are somewhat welcome, provided that they're at the very least amusing — in fact, there's even a thread on there right now about how having an anti-civ forum is somehow an absurd contradiction! Point is, there's a low barrier of entry. You can talk about growing herbs (not necessarily *that* kind of herb) on your veranda, hunt-sab strategies, WiFi-connected dildos, or just post John Zerzan memes. It's anything goes (for now), 'cos Anything Can Happen!

I'm surprised how this forum went so active. Last time I checked I think it was during its previous iteration, where Bellamy was on full battletrolling mode over there with his endless ramblings on anthropology theory like chapters about Delayed Return...

Bellamy is unfortunately too busy for that these days. I do however hope his rambling makes a comeback!

Let's dance to the nihilistic natural wilderness of the landscape falling on our minds like a ton of chaotic creative nectar.

Let's stroll around in Tamriel's wild nature in between killing a few Daedric gods.
