The only ethical consumption is expropriation.

In the face of the hijacking of our lives we refuse to remain inactive. That’s why on Thursday June 6th we storm on morning times  at the A.B. supermarket located on the National Resistance street ( Εθνικής Αντιστάσεως ) in Kaisariani. We went in, took what we wanted and left undisturbed.

This location was chosen in an attempt to break the regime of terror and inaction that has prevailed in recent months in the area, due to the suffocating increase in police, both static forces and patrols. We are re-residentializing our spaces and neighbourhoods, which the State is methodically trying to sterilize, turning them into hotbeds of lawlessness and resistance.

We are not content with the aimless pursuit of survival, we are not attuned to the impasse of resignation, we are hostile to compromise. We are tapping the profits of the multinationals that establish and maintain this spectacle society that we abhor. At the same time, in the society that remains uninvolved and bows its head to the tyranny of the bosses, bending under the weight of precision, we oppose the collectivisation of our needs, self-organization, direct action and attack.

We are responding to the climate of terrorism that has prevailed after the new criminal code. We refuse to redefine ourselves and allow the fear of impending repression to direct our action and by extension our existence. It’s time to expropriate our stolen lives.

Oil, coffee, napkins, sunscreens, drinks etc. were expropriated from the supermarket.

Alienated ( the expropriation ones )

EVERYTHING IS OURS BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS STOLEN, ALL THE SUPERMARKETS TO BE EXPROPRIATION

POWER TO THIEVES WHO ACT EITHER INDIVIDUALLY OR AS A COLLECTIVE

IF WE DON’T RESIST IN ALL NEIGHBOURHOODS, OUR CITIES WILL REMAIN MODERN PRISONS

10, 100, 1000 SUPERMARKETS LET’S SEE HOW THEY BECOME ASHES IN THE FLAMES

Translated by Act for freedom now!

POWER TO THIEVES WHO ACT EITHER INDIVIDUALLY OR AS A COLLECTIVE

Sketchy lumpens do this every day at the Walgreens that I am exploited at in Stumptown, USA. All I gotta do is slip them a little Alfredo Bonanno, and - voom! - a new society shall result!

Oh wow the Greeks are just learning about pushing carts. Finally the Americans have done something before them.

I remember 15 years ago reading a communique about greek anarchists robbing a market of their cash and then going outside and burning the money in front of it. They said they did it as critique of the money and also how looting/shoplifting can easily just become another form of commodity fetishism

True in a way, but that still sounds sanctimonious to me.

I'm looking at this trend of Maori folks around Auckland who've been doing some pretty fun acts of collective looting in broad daylight... and I can't not feel ecstatic about it. Like families just walking out of supermakets loaded with goodies while with big mommas arguing with the security guys. Of course they're still depending on commodity, but that's response to shitty economic/political conditions where these people are increasingly being thrown under the bus. These actions are illegible and don't come with communiques, but in these economic conditions they're self-evident.

Yea I don’t totally agree with those greeks but i do appreciate their anarchist purism to some extent. Like wanting a world outside of the value form…and being crazy enough to destroy money (of course it just comes off as performance art to most people). Doesn’t have to happen at every robbery but could be cool if it did every so often just to mix things up.

How do we get out if this powerless limbo where we’re never moving away from the world that centralizes and privatizes all the things and nourishing food we need to survive.

But also, fuck it, yea looting is cool and joyous, people get what they need or want in the immediate. Tho where I live it’s all dollar trees and pawn shops and beauty stores cuz there’s no rich people here, so the looting is actually kinda depressing and the act becomes even more of a testament to the harsh reality that people still just get the crumbs—tho they maybe be free or ‘expropriated’

Third World NA sure is a crap for looters... that's why proles get into hunting & fishing usually. And these fucking beauty shops, really just there to support social media sex trade... uuugh.

But where do raiders come from historically? Like I've known anarcos and radcoms in eastern France that were going to Geneva for occasional lifting raids, like literally. This does increase dependency on cars, tho, but if you're just going to use that dirty smelly old van for a monthly that ain't too bad.

Can anyone who reads Greek share some interviews or texts by anarchists there reflecting on the rise/fall of the movement over the last 15 years? Even if untranslated. Wanna know how they see their own trajectory

a tale of two loss prevention officers!

rent a cop # 1: works for a major grocery franchise, spends his days noticing how most of the people he rolls are broke and desperate, in some cases, hardcore addicts living on the street, most of whom have long forgotten fear of consequences, including death and prison.

he's a big guy, weightlifter background and he's not stupid or white. his physical size means desperate folks tend to try talking to him first and he looks the other way when somebody's elderly or stealing baby food. when he catches repeat offenders who remember him, they tend to joke and laugh, handing over the sweaty block of cheese from their pants and promising to go bother the other guy at the other store down the street. he knows the cops don't care about a few hundred bucks, lots of the time, they don't even show up when called.

rent a cop # 2: drinks deeply of the class war koolaid, works at the same stores as #1. they get rotated around to different locations so people don't recognize their faces as much. # 2 had a brief career as a boxer and enjoys hurting people. # 2 takes every opportunity to throw the first punch, til one day, he puts a homeless drug addict in the hospital. turns out that particular individual can really hold a grudge in his mind tho! few months later, guess who got stabbed at work?

the moral of the story is don't get stabbed in the class war, don't fuck with desperate people.

I get it, but you're putting a political/moral signifier on skin tone, which is wrong. There's fash in every ethnic group.

A lot of the rent-a-cops that went after me while lifting were "Brown", i.e. Hispanic or -as it seems to be attracting this crowd- Turkish. The latter group tended to be religious and aggressive about their job like police wannabes. Haven't seen many Black people as security and those few I saw were more about showing-off than going after lifters... and the former is basically doing their jobs, as security employees are supposed to be scarecrows.

A lot of White Euro security I came across were zealous but polite. It's the young brodudes that'll be aggressive and stupid. They're the ones you can stab at will, tho pepper spray might be a better idea.

Doesn't matter. Anarcho-leftist aristocrats are gonna drive the cops' attention to their public lifting campaigns, so we can sneek sneek sneeeeek in the nearest dumpster for these exquisite melty fat meals under the disgusted stares of the comfy bourgie Plateau citizenry!
