Charter of principles
The organizing committee of the São Paulo Anarchist Fair reiterates that the event is a forum for the dissemination of anarchist ideas and practices and the promotion of dialogue among all people. The Fair is not intended to be a commercial venue. Therefore, the sale of items and the dissemination of activities aim to support the participating groups, which, throughout the year, carry out various activities and work to maintain anarchist spaces.
The call for participation in the 15th edition of the Fair has been publicized since mid-2025, with the aim of enabling a wide range of groups to submit their proposals. Approval of registered groups rests solely with the event's organizing members . Any proposal clearly intended for strictly commercial use of the event and lacking an anarchist perspective will be rejected.
In keeping with the spirit of freedom, the Fair is an open space. Therefore, for better event planning, no proposals that are not part of the program will be accepted, whether due to the inability to find a suitable location or the unavailability of a time that does not interfere with other scheduled activities. Furthermore, proposals that are rejected by the Fair organizers cannot be accepted. In previous editions, incidents of this nature have negatively impacted the event's progress, and therefore, the organizing committee aims to preserve this libertarian principle and prevent similar incidents.
With this in mind, the committee publishes the charter of principles of the São Paulo Anarchist Fair , which summarizes the results obtained from the experiences of previous editions:
1 – The Fair is a libertarian space. Therefore, sexist , racist , lesbian/trans/bi/homophobic , authoritarian , violent, and partisan propaganda attitudes will not be tolerated .
2 – The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages and cigarettes are not permitted inside EMEF. Des. Amorim Lima.
3 – The setting up of stalls or stands and the sale of food that have not been previously approved by the organizing committee will not be accepted , as well as the holding of competing activities and lectures .
Yours sincerely,
Organizing Committee of the São Paulo Anarchist Fair
