From Anarchist Black Cross Belarus
Over the past few years, quite a few organizations and groups have appeared in the anarchist milieu that actively exclude activists from Solidarity Collectives, ABC-Belarus, and a number of other anarchist and anti-authoritarian organizations from public events, blocking their participation and writing various kinds of “statements” condemning their work in support of Ukrainian resistance to the Russian invasion. The basis for such behavior is often the distorted positions of activists from Eastern Europe on the war. Anarchists are accused of becoming militarists, supporting the war, and not being critical enough of the Ukrainian state.
Available in other languages – Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Russian, Spanish, French, Greek, Italian, German
In our opinion, such behavior is not worthy of the anarchist movement — we believe in the need for dialogue on controversial issues. Attempts to force anarchists to say the “right” things so that Western comrades are willing to listen to them and donate to them look like coercion. We do not consider the work of the Solidarity Collectives and ABC-Belarus to be in any way pro-war or supportive of state militarism. We categorically condemn any attempts to isolate anarchist collectives from Eastern Europe on the issue of the Russian regime’s military expansion.
We call on other anarchist collectives to show solidarity with anarchists who are fighting here and now against the regimes of Putin and Lukashenko with weapons or stones in their hands. Resistance to the state is not possible without solidarity, critical thinking, and dialogue on complex political issues.

In English the slogans which were marched behind are "Glory to the Nation! Death to its enemies!" and "Ukraine above all!" (adopted from 'Deutschland uber alles!"). So yeah, it must be a complete mystery as to why these groups are having so much trouble spreading their ideas at anarchist events...

I'm very surprised to see my main man Javier Seethness support NATIONAL STATE ARMIES after their scathing takedown of Emma Goldman. Javier is without a doubt shining star of anarchist writers and thinkers and consider my weekend ruined!
Meanwhile, I'm burning all my Peter Gelderloos books right now! GET IT TOGETHER SHEEPLE!

A new round of whining from these ridiculous ranters is a wonderful thing in itself; I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. And the people who managed to sign it multiple times, using different signs, lend a special charm to this madman's ramblings.
It's worth noting separately the impudent people who signed this on behalf of non-existent organizations and Petrov, who, like a leech, is trying to attach himself to an anarchist movement alien to him and make money selling his book.
Write more, offended gentlemen.

Well, the names of the individuals that were added are Anatoly Dubovik and Oleksandr Kolchenko, both of whom you can read about on the IWA-AIT site here: https://iwa-ait.org/content/again-about-anarchists-who-forget-principles
So I think it's safe to assume that these two people at least do indeed agree with the statement and with Solidarity Collectives in general. It's also a good indication of the kind of people this statement apparently continues to attract.

They only support soldiers in the state army who are deployed in war. Why do you call it militarism? The Ukrainian state army is not a militaristic institution. Soldiers in the army are not part of a militaristic institution and are not commanded by militaristic officers. Soldiers fighting in a war do not support war... "War is peace," Orwell would say.

So we're getting back to what matters here, on this very site, as anarchy gives the power to not only get free housing, but also free all the rest. Scarcity is a condition generated by the state itself, so that it may provide with tiny bits of remedies to alleviate the dispossessed's alienation, as socio-economic Pavlovian gimmick to subjugate people deeper down to its rule. Anarchist anti-imperialism doesn't translate to opposing one specific imperialist power, but the very empire of the state upon our lives...

So what actually is the argument? Should the anarchists just accept the invasion of Russian imperialists? There is an organized mass of murderers being sent for them, what do people not under siege & daily bombing think they should do?

"what do people not under siege & daily bombing think they should do?"
Well you should ask them. Personally I am generally in agreement with the anarchist groups along the front such as in Odessa (https://www.azarov.net/comprehension/practic/382-war-and-anarchists.html) or Kharkiv (https://assembly.org.ua/) or Donetsk (which rebranded into a Luxembourgist socialist group after repression in the summer https://vk.com/club229664332) or other non-anarchist revolutionary groupings such as the miners union and soviet in Donetsk (https://t.me/Alexander_Vaskovsky) and so on.
But there we get to the big manipulation underlying your question about "people not under siege & daily bombing" as if the exclusion of national-anarchist groupings from Eastern Europe equates to exclusion people under siege & daily bombing. But the simple fact is that national-anarchism and similar patriotic-militaristic forms of "anarchism" have never been considered part of the anarchist movement. As you can tell from the inclusion of the numerous anarchist and other revolutionary groupings directly along the front line, the problem has nothing to do with "excluding people under siege & daily bombing" but simply with excluding national-anarchist and related groupings.
So maybe the question should be posed differently: Why should national-anarchist and related groupings be included in anarchist events merely because they happen to reside in a region currently at war, when there are already plenty of internationalist and anti-militarist anarchist and related groups from that same region available?
So, where actually are anarchists in your list?

What a great list for "anarchist groups"...
1) "Socialist party of Russia" in VK (which is Russian state-controlled social media) with... 47(!) subscribers.
2) Assembly which has no connection to any of the anarchist group that were active before the war. The "quality" of the website is really impressive...
3) Odessa? But it's a web-site of old man who was a head of "anarchist party" very long time ago. No activity for recent 10 years or more, I think.
4) union in Donetsk?! Really? Russian puppet state's organization? Each day they have posts comparing Russian "special military operation" with the WWII... Okay...
> plenty of internationalist and anti-militarist anarchist
So.. We have only one group "Assembly" (despite the fact that no one knew about them before and I can see no activity by them as well) with web-site from 1980-s? Great!

I see, you're one of those terminally online people who thinks that political activity is about getting subscribers on social media.
"2) Assembly which has no connection to any of the anarchist group that were active before the war. The "quality" of the website is really impressive..."
If they have no connection to national-anarchist groups then that speaks a lot in their favour.
"3) Odessa? But it's a web-site of old man who was a head of "anarchist party" very long time ago. No activity for recent 10 years or more, I think."
Yes the post-Maidan regime harshly repressed anarchist and communist activity, what's your point?
"4) union in Donetsk?! Really? Russian puppet state's organization? Each day they have posts comparing Russian "special military operation" with the WWII... Okay..."
Yes, really. Well known and respected among the workers for several strikes including at the Kosmomolskaya mine in 2019 (https://hromadske.ua/en/posts/mining-protest-crackdown-in-occupied-donb…) and at the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant in 2021 (https://www.radiosvoboda.org/a/kurchenko-orlo-alchevsk-amk-zabastovka/3…). But this is of course about actual working class struggle and not about making fancy websites to get online subscribers so that may not count for you.
"So.. We have only one group "Assembly" (despite the fact that no one knew about them before and I can see no activity by them as well) with web-site from 1980-s? Great!"
So... we have 3 anarchist groups and 1 communist union. Sorry they don't meet your standards for fancy websites and online subscribers though, I guess you'll have to look elsewhere for that.

Although I should add that 2 of those groups, Assembleia and SPR, don't call themselves anarchist anymore. But I'm still going to qualify them as "anarchist" in this context since in both cases the decision isn't based on a rejection of anarchism per se but is a response to the practical state of the anarchist movement.

'member when a couple of sus "anarchist" activists from Turkey and Syria were desperately trying to appeal Western anarchists to support the FSA in Syria and oppose the monster Assad?
Well... whatever happened with that, now? You got a prominent Al Qaeda Islamic fascist in charge of the cuntry, enforcing Sharia Law, then going on a honeymoon with Trump.
"We" got no interest in getting instrumentalized like the gullible fools you'd like "us" to be, who got a DC comic book level of understanding of state and geopolitics. If I go to fight 'till freedom or death, that's be for my freedom and that of my closed ones. Not for some hyper-convoluted, super-contrived, one-sided "anti-imperialist" struggle, with people who'd only find me useful as cannon-fodder on the front line, with a gun pointed in my back.

Say a stalker is threatening to kill an anarchist, so the anarchist calls the cops, and the cops miraculously stop the stalker (unrealistic, yes). Are the cops anarchist now? Is calling the cops the anarchist thing to do now? Because that's what your question implies. What is a persons supposed to do? Not breathe air? Breathing air is anarchist, everyone who breathes air is anarchist because without breathing air, we would all die! That's what your idiotic moralism amounts to. Completely delusional, or just disinformation on behalf of a state.
