This issue contains an unintentionally hilarious pro-voting plea. It's so unconvincing that I wonder if the author even believes her own incoherence.

i found a paper copy of this so i could read what 5th Estate has to say about "Braiding Sweetgrass". i was very excited about this book and read it when it was first published. i'm glad it is still around, apparently still on bestseller lists & Steve Izma's review is decent, but why that title for the review? i like a good pun, but that ain't it. regardless, read braiding sweetgrass, it'll do you good.

in this issue is also a review of 'breaking the alphabet', a book i found hard to parse. and this review was only of little help. hard to know how seriously to take a review when it calls Alfred Korzybski Alfred "Korzinsky" , typos happen but c'mon. anyway, the author, Ian Blumberg-Enge, redeems himself with a lovely essay on skateboarding.
