<table><tr><td>From <a href="http://unnamedavenue.org/">Unamed Avenue</a>

Last Friday the “Unnamed Collective” celebrated it's first birthday.

It was a swanky affair hosted at the locale community centre / organic garden. Free food, real conversation, and a ukulele duo, provided a soothing ambience for the wild eyed radicals that inhabit these parts.

The collective formed in part from the disillusionment caused by the liberal suckass circlejerk that was Occupy Perth. The true freethinkers, who were at the time giddy with potential, had their hopes dashed on the sharp empty reef of party lines and single issue freaks. The collective was born from necessity. The necessity to solidify the strong and unknown current of anarchism fermenting just under the surface of this far off and parochial mining town. </td><td><img title="I loved those books as a kid" src="http://anarchistnews.org/files/pictures/2012/knife-street-art.jpg"></td>...

The collective supports and has provided a conduit for camaraderie, education, and an anarchist voice in the most isolated city in the world. They have produced three zines this past year and the style, content, and humour continues to refine itself. Three more are planned for the coming year.

Direct actions, happenings, and community dinners have made the collective a kind of family for many. The collective is sizable considering the population and demographic of p-town, and shows no sign of stopping.

man, how do i come into contact with these "true freethinkers". fucking elitists. Enjoy your potlucks. You are SO MUCH MORE REVOLUTIONARY THAN OCCUPY PERTH.

you would know keyboard warrior

ha ha

well we can't all be dragging newspaper boxes into the street

real conversation

liberal suckass circlejerk that was Occupy _______________ (fill in your town name, unless it's Oakland)

here here!

-guy everyone knows thinks occupy is dumb annoying bullshit

Occupy what? I already forgot that thing. What was that about, again?

Oh... never mind.

Note from OP: the 'unknown collective' doesn't only produce papers, but it would be remiss to mention activities outside of this... all roads lead to rome in such a small town. Hope you get the drift.

Everyone in a small town has ties and backing in Empire?

What? Your collective is unnamed, okay...but where the fuck is it? The only clue in this post is the name Perth. I have never even heard of Perth and googling it comes up with this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perth_%28disambiguation%29

I assume your "small town" is not the Australian city with a population of 1.7 million?

sure dudette,
in perff
just send an email. we aren't that hard to find.

I should send you an e-mail in order to find out where the fuck in the world your Perth is. Instead of you saying your group is in Australia or Scotland or Ontario or Delaware or New York or any of the other places in the world with Perths when you rode your ambiguous announcement, since most of this site's readership is not in Australia.

Apologies for the ambiguities and rude responses here, man - the anonymous author of this post is not any active member of our collective so far as we know. We stumbled upon this ourselves. Please see the post below (Sat 6th) by my comrade for clarification and a link to the Avenue website. We are based in Perth, Western Australia.

The 'small town' term is a reference to Perth's relatively small community and size in comparison to other capital cities. It is the most geographically isolated city in the world and a comfortable, safe reserve for many wealthy tycoons of questionable moral.

from that link: "Perth (/pɜrθ/) is the capital and largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia. It is the fourth most populous city in Australia, with an estimated population of 1.74 million living in the Perth metropolitan area.[1]"

from the comment you are ostensibly responding to: "I assume your "small town" is not the Australian city with a population of 1.7 million?"

As far as I know no one active in the collective wrote this and as much as it is true that unnamed formed out of the Perth Occupy movement and that many felt a disillusionment with Occupy, as many anarchists the world over have, we are still working alongside the Occupy activists here in Perth to organise events such as the upcoming Reclaim The Streets that coincides with the Global Noise day of action.

To read the paper online or contribute please head to: www.unnamedavenue.org

Also... Despite an unnecessary hostility from the author toward Occupy the comments are just ridiculous. Are you all 14 year old fascists? I'd welcome news of any new anarchist collective in the world. It's called solidarity.
