White Shroud, Deed of Ownership: An Autopsy of an Occupation (Field Executions & Forced Marriage)

From Anarchist Front

Here, in the 17th district of Kabul, two girls' bodies are wrapped in white cloth. The whiteness of the shroud, this time not of ritual, but the signature of a predatory regime on bodies that had been plundered many times before their deaths. They were not killed to punish; they were killed to register ownership, to mark the boundaries of property. In the Taliban's logic, a woman who does not submit to forced marriage, a woman who was previously in the clutches of a willing or unwilling spouse and now the armed Taliban wants her for themselves, a woman whose existence, in the eyes of this armed group, is an ownerless land, is to be eliminated.

Update on May Day 2026 Anarchist Prisoner (Indonesia)

One of the detainees arrested during the May Day 2026 protests in Bandung, RR alias Mpe, who was previously accused of being the “leader of an anarchist group,” has now been charged by the police under terrorism laws. He has also reportedly been placed in isolation and denied access to legal counsel of his own choosing, raising serious concerns over the violation of a suspect’s right to provide testimony freely and without coercion, intimidation, or pressure.

June 11th statement from Marius Mason

From Anarchist Black Cross Federation by Marius Mason

I am feeling some bittersweet feelings, having left prison after some 17 years. I met so many people, from so many communities and families, who found themselves incarcerated for a myriad of reasons. As we move into this time of contention, where there will be conflict between the state and the communities we know – there may be more of the people we love sharing that hidden world behind bars and kept apart. To recognize and remember them is important and it keeps those ties we have to them strong. Please help me this June 11th, to send some love, some hope and a promise to remember to all of our people who are living behind bars.

How Anarchists Saw the Iranian Revolution (part 2)

From Anarchisthistories (Substack) by Tom Goyens

Toward the Divine State

From the beginning, anarchists suspected that Iran’s revolution might end not in freedom, but in clerical rule. Today, with the benefit of hindsight, the religious character of the revolution appears obvious. But during 1978 and early 1979, events in Iran remained fluid and uncertain. Anarchists nevertheless sensed the danger early. Long hostile to clerical authority and the quite tyranny of piety, they viewed theocratic politics as inherently hostile to human emancipation.

Let’s continue talking about Sara and Sandro

From Dark Nights - Foligno, Italy

The deaths of Sara Ardizzone and Alessandro Mercogliano on the night of 19–20 March in Rome, following the explosion and collapse of an abandoned cottage in the Parco degli Acquedotti area, have created an open wound that is not intended to heal. For the most part, the spontaneous reaction of the anarchist movement in Italy and around the world has been dignified and coherent with the life paths of two revolutionaries who died fighting. However, a genuine moment of reflection has been lacking so far. We do not regret this, but rather believe that the extended timeframe is necessary given the nature of this event. These are inevitably long, grief-filled days, but they are also days spent coming to a concrete understanding of the facts.

Attack on HERON, a subsidiary of the GEK TERNA Group

From Act for Freedom Now! - Thessaloniki,Greece by anarchists

For the past two weeks, we have been witnessing a trial unfold, one in which the authorities are striving to downplay the political nature of the case and distract attention by talking about armed terrorists and other familiar clichés to reinforce the narrative that those being prosecuted in the Ampelokipi case were and are a potential danger to society. In reality, of course, for the past two weeks we have seen our comrades maintain their political dignity intact, as well as the memory of our comrade Kyriakos, through their stance in court and throughout their imprisonment.

The Anarchist Group In Sudan On Building A Third Line

From The Dugout (YouTube)

In this episode, Sudanese anarchist organizer Fawaz joins Dr. Mohamed Abdou for a wide-ranging conversation on the war in Sudan, authoritarianism, colonialism, and the struggle for liberation beyond the state. Together, they unpack the roots of the conflict between the Sudanese army and the RSF, tracing how colonial borders, militarized tribal divisions, resource extraction, and regional powers have shaped decades of violence and displacement. The discussion explores how authoritarian systems manufacture chaos in order to sustain control, while ordinary people are left to survive genocide, war economies, and social fragmentation.

From Anarchist Black Cross Belarus

The regime has added ABC Belarus to the official list of “extremist formations.” This is yet another attempt to pressure the anarchist movement and criminalize solidarity work.
