Back in the safety of your room, the adrenaline rush subsided. It was getting late and the glow of the screen illuminated the desk as the parking lot lights shone through your window. The comments by some 1. ____________ (favorite word for anarchists) had resonated in you. Stepping outside to breathe in the cool autumnal air, you pulled up your cell phone to continue reading “Letters of Insurgents” by Lorraine and Fredy Perlman. Your phone vibrated and it’s a message from 2. __________ (a relationship of yours) with a link to the Anarchist News text “Prolle Stroll” and a skull emoji. Wow, sounds fun! You save it to your phone to print out later, maybe you'll spread some copies around campus.

Putting your phone away and going back inside, you:

Choice 1:
a.) You need to take a break from all this technology. What can you do next that would be even more fun than breaking that computer? Maybe the school has a server room?
b.) Feel a pang of guilt about destroying that poor receptionist's computer, maybe you should leave a note telling them why
c.) Hit up the person who sent you Prolle Stroll to go crash the DSA's Halloween party and see if you can't round some people up for a stroll of your own!
d.) society!

Halloween is one week away, but people on the campus are already celebrating as a large group of friends pass by wearing 3. __________ (a type of costume or clothing). The night is young and you decided to head off towards 4. __________ (a place of interest), but first you stop back in your room quick.

Then suddenly there's a knocking on the door "Open up! It's the police!". Oh no!!! What are you going to do?!

Choice 2:

a) Don't open door, stay quiet, contact legal support.
b) Sneak out the window!
c) Open door and talk to the police.
d) Grab fake I.D. and get ready to be someone else!

Anarchistnews has 0 jobs. It is an open-source web forum, not a wage slave. If you use it for news, you're welcome to skip over this content and go to the news stuff instead. I've been enjoying reading these (though I don't contribute my own ideas, I like to just think them up in my head), and I hope the author continues the series :).

You can't brand a website anarchist, then gatekeep the acceptable content on it. You're making it sound like this is stalinistnews.org lol. Just skip it over, there's no need to be butthurt about it.

The software used is opensource. There is still an authoritarian user/moderator hierarchy. This is not anarchist.

Both cops and anarchists pour into the streets as fast as they can arrive, but there are more of us than there are of them. As the situation escalates, the cops end up using their rubber bullets and similar weapons to fight their way OUT. In the end they withdraw, fearing a major campus riot that could end the semester and bankrupt the university.

As someone who used to help with ANews, the criticism of their content is, well, boring. TOTW was/is great, but also choose your own adventure style stories are also fucking cool. If you want report backs only, our friends originally from the Central Valley are a better source.
The thing about Anews is it is both prescient and playful. I'll take that, even when I don't particularly feel a connection to the content.
