Colombia: Medellín Anarchist Bookfair, Nov. 15 & 16

From Feria Anarquista del Libro (instagram)

In this 11th version of the anarchist fair of the book and publication, we invoke and summon the alchemy that lies in the boilers where it is leaking what sustains life: food. The care of hands that peel, stack, slice, wait, wash and serve will be the topographies we will explore so that those words of which we ufanamos know as autonomy and self-management, give us clues of how to lure them in more appropriate ways, given the present situation in the which we are, where hunger is one of the ways of sophistication of the state apparatus in its most gruesome version: genocide.

Portland Anarchist Zine Fair, Oct. 5

From Rose City Counter-Info

WHILE MISERY EXISTS, WE CHOOSE REBELLION

Everyone who has lived here knows that there are two Portlands: the Portland of the wealthy elite and their yuppie lackeys and the Portland of the poor, of the rabble. The architects of this misery are trying to ease the tension building on the fault line between these two cities using political games, counter-cultural branding, rainbow washing, and welfare “services” that amount to breadcrumbs laid in a mouse trap.
