From Black Rose/Rosa Negra Anarchist Federation

Whither Black Anarchism?

From Muntjac

This is a self critique and a critique of communities I’ve been a part of my entire adult life. It was very hard to write especially in a moment where it feels like anarchist activity is low but revolutionaries have to remain honest especially in these perilous times. I speak about Black anarchists cause those are the people I spend most of my time around however many of these critiques could be extended to Non-Black POC and Indigenous anarchist tendencies as well.

Anarchist News Official Statement on White Dreads

Anarchist News is fully and unwaveringly committed to the belief that white people with dreadlocks should not be invited, welcomed, or tolerated whatsoever at any Anarchist Book Fair, and that anyone who displays, performs, or engages in similar antagonisms of cultural appropriation, racist/white supremacist beliefs, behaviors, or attitudes should be immediately told to leave the space and removed if necessary. As thecollective is not a legislative body in the slightest and has zero interest or ability to enforce any rules, we realize that our position is simply a strong recommendation to anarchists.

An interview with Sudanese Anarchist Gathering

The following interview with the group „Sudanese Anarchist Gathering“ was done by e-mail. Due to the language barrier(s), a difference in political socialization and terminology, some difficulties arose in our communication. This has greatly delayed the publication of the interview which was held August 2022. Questions as well as answers have been translated and edited for better readability. However, we are now happy to share the interview and understand the previously mentioned hurdles as a logical part of internationalist work.

Organizing & Fighting Without Dying

from Mental Hellth

Most people who have spent enough time organizing know it can be a thankless job. The planet is on fire; millions of people don’t have their basic needs met, and are experiencing housing and food insecurity; a global pandemic has killed more than 4 million people worldwide; and fascism is on the rise. Everywhere, people are navigating how to survive each day. Basically, the world is pretty bad right now, and activists are fighting tooth and nail to change that.

How to “Doom” Anarchism: A Response to Dakota Hensley

A response to "The Conservative Anarchist".

Can there be such a thing as a “conservative anarchist?” Yes, as is true of any broad political label – socialist, democrat, libertarian, the list grows longer every day as the far right tries to appropriate the language of other tendencies. Ultimately, one can identify with whatever values they want, this is the foundation of many views I hold.
