TOTW: Veganarchy from Inside

Some of the household names of veganarchy are Warzone Distro, Animal Liberation Front, Unoffensive Animal, and some manifestations of Food not Bombs. They express a wide variety of ideas of veganism, but generally align in the concept of Veganarchy: Not just being anarchist and vegan, but that veganism is essential to the anarchist critique and veganism finds its highest expression in anarchy (as opposed to say, liberal vegans). Veganarchy is often synonymous with Total Liberation. As Steve Best puts it, “it is imperative that we no longer speak of human liberation, animal liberation, or earth liberation as if they were independent struggles, but rather that we talk instead of total liberation” (The Politics of Total Liberation, 2014, as quoted in Total Liberation, from Signal Fire & Active Distribution).

New Zine: Anarchy & the Art of Hitchhiking

From Warzone Distro

Nomadic people have historically posed the greatest threats to and have been the most maligned by State powers. Pirates, Barbarians, Romani, and Bedouins, amongst other transient groups, have historically been in conflict with civilizing forces and systems of power due to their illegibility and the extent to which these populations are difficult to control. Hitchhiking is not only fun, but is also a strategy for evading the confines of State power and the repression that is an intrinsic component of forced sedentization.

The Parade of Rebellion Against Indonesia

A Conversation Between Warzone Distro and Anarcho-Nihilist Insurgents in So-Called Indonesia

On September 3rd 2025, we (Warzone Distro) were asked by some friends from the colonized territory of so-called Indonesia to relay perspectives from the battleground of what they call "The Parade of Rebellion Against Indonesia".

What an eventful year it has been! We have been busy on and offline (mostly the latter) but managed to put together and publish a few new zines!

In addition to these new zines we also have a couple new videos on our YouTube channel (some poetry by Flower Bomb along with a few new audio versions of some zines.)

We have also been active on Instagram making some amazing connections there. Feel free to follow us if interested.

Burning Down the World

From Idioteq Magazine

Original title: Burning Down the World: Anarchy, Veganism, and Total Liberation with WARZONE DISTRO

Born in 2013, WARZONE DISTRO free zine project, stands at the intersection of nihilist, anti-civilization anarchy, and total liberation, bridging gaps between veganism, straight edge, and insurrectionary thought. WARZONE DISTRO is dedicated  to challenge the very foundations of oppression, wherever it festers, and in whatever form.

Burning the Borders

From Warzone Distro

Original title: Burning the Borders: Total Liberation & Individualist, Nihilist Perspectives Within the Colonized Territory Known as Mexico

This interview between Warzone Distro & Guta – one of the  organizers of EININPAACF or Encuentro Internacional de Practicas Anarquicas y Antiauthoritarias Contra las Fronteras, which in english translates to annual international gathering of anarchist and anti-authoritarian practices against borders – took place a few days before and after the event. This event which took place January 25 – 27 in Tijuana, Mexico, reflects a new emergence of individualist, anarcho-nihilist perspectives influenced not only by the current techno-industrial world in general, but also by the perceived failings of leftism experienced by anarchists living in so-called mexico.

Easy Ways to Spot Authoritarians Within the Anarchist Milieu

from Warzone Distro

au·thor·i·tar·i·an·ism
Noun: the enforcement or advocacy of strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom.

We decided that a fun way to kick off the new year would be to encourage a more critical and confrontational examination of authoritarian elements within anarchist spaces.

RIP “Kota” (or “Koda”)

A Special Delivery to a Dearly Departed Wild One

The year is 2019. We’ve arrived in California from Kansas City. We decide to spend the night in the Bakersfield, California train yard where our train to Portland will be rolling in sometime in the morning. This will be my first time train hopping to a bookfair (Seattle Anarchist Bookfair), and my first time riding trains with Kota.
