Expression of Solidarity and Support for Anarchist Prisoners

"They want to cage our bodies and fence-in our thoughts, but they will never extinguish the rebellious fire of freedom. Freedom to all prisoners of the struggle."

By and for those with a rebellious spirit, those whodon't surrender under the malice of the repressive apparatuses of the state. “A Web of Relations & Tensions” — interview with Return Fire

These questions were completed, as requested, for the first release of No Path[1] – a project aiming to make more links between the ‘anti-civilisation’ and ‘anti-speciesist’ strands in the anarchist world. The invitation to participate was very welcome, and it seemed a good opportunity to offer critical engagement with these tendencies, as well as talk about the upcoming Return Fire book which No Path had taken interest in. However, when the ‘zine went to print, No Path wrote to say that the fifth question and answer (the one relating to the focus of their project) had been cut, citing lack of space. Here is the unabridged version of the interview. For copies of No Path #1 (which will otherwise be offline only), email them at nopath[at]riseup.net

Statement on the arson against a vehicle of the Greek Embassy

From Kontrapolis.

We have been closely following the Greek state's crushing of demonstrations in the streets of Athens. The government of Nea Dimokratia and its judiciary have proven that in the hunger strikes of D. Koufontinas and G. Michailidis they are ready to let prisoners die rather than to give way one step. We know the videos of the lynching with the participation of police officers of Zak Kostopoulos. As well as the execution of N. Sampanis in Perama by DIAS is an expression of a ruthless regime, as is the murder of Vassilis Maggos in Volos. Blood drips from the hands of the Greek authorities.

Responsibility Claim for Explosive Attack Against Precinct

imagine that...a police station named after an anarchist

From Anarquía English translation by Anarchist News

We are anarchists. We repudiate that the Mexican police dared to use the name of Ricardo Flores Magón, who we consider to be an important reference point of internationalist anarchist struggle and who detested all forms of government during his life, to name a police station of the repressive police of Mexico City. We warn you that we will burn this station over and over until they stop tarnishing his name in such an opprobrious manner.

Sri Lanka: It Takes a Whole Village!

From CrimethInc.

Gota Go Gama—What We Learned in the Occupation Movement

In the following text, a Sri Lankan anarchist who participated in the protest movement that toppled president Gotabaya Rajapaksa reflects on Gota Go Gama (“Gota Go Home”), the occupation at the heart of the movement. Gama is Sinhala for “village”; the Tamil equivalent is Gramam. Starting on April 9, protesters established a permanent occupation at Galle Face, the half-kilometer-long oceanside park in downtown Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. On July 9, a combative crowd stormed the Presidential Palace, the Presidential Secretariat, and the residence of the Prime Minister, forcing Gotabaya Rajapaksa to flee the country.
