The Libertarian Anarchist Socialism Organization is in solidarity with the M'bya Guarani in Jaraguá, in São Paulo, who a week ago occupied land near the Jaraguá Indigenous Land. The fight is to stop the continuation of deforestation in the region, and prevent the construction of a condominium of five residential buildings, for the Minha Casa Minha Vida program, by Construtora Tenda. The indigenous occupation began after the construction company cut hundreds of trees. In total, more than 4,000 trees were cut. In opposition, another 200 tree seedlings were planted by the M'bya Guarani in the places where the felling occurred

Anarchist Mikita Yemelyanau Sentenced to 7 Years Imprisonment

12.02.2020: On Wednesday, Belarusian anarchists Mikita Yemelyanau and Ivan Komar have been sentenced to seven years in prison each.

The trial kicked off on February, 6 in Savetski district court of Minsk. On February 11, public prosecutor Ihar Seneu asked the court to sentence them to seven years of imprisonment in a medium security penal colony. Today, when delivering the verdict, judge Alyaksandr Yakunchykhin has taken heed of the position of the persecution.

A Russian court has issued harsh sentences to seven antifascist and anarchist activists in a controversial domestic terrorism case marred by claims that investigators tortured the defendants to elicit confessions.

The court in Penza, a city about 390 miles (630km) south-east of Moscow, sentenced the men to terms of six to 18 years in penal colonies for allegedly forming an organisation called Set, which translates as the Network, which prosecutors said planned to carry out future attacks inside to overthrow the government. The men were also charged with an assortment of weapons and drugs charges.

FCI Englewood tries again to remove Erics Visits
